Soobin rested his head on the couch, in silence, watching the scene unfolding before him. In front of the TV, Beomgyu and Yeonjun played a videogame while mockingly insulting and threatening each other.

From time to time, Beomgyu would push his shoulder against the older one's, attempting to make him lose balance, therefore improving his own chances of winning at the game.

Yet again, Soobin wondered what these feelings were, exactly. There might be a hint of jealously in his mind, but mostly there was this painful numbness, some sort of heavy feeling of resignation.

His eyes were fixed on Yeonjun's nape.

He had liked his hyung from the first time they talked. Soobin never questioned this feeling. It wasn't the first time he felt attracted to another man, but he wasn't worried: attraction can be easily suppressed, and his career was the number one priority. There were plenty of fish in the sea, and his fame and fortune would give him unlimited access to a huge portion of them. He wasn't stupid enough to let some stupid crush distract him from his goals.

Or so he thought in the beginning.

But since TXT's debut Soobin's feelings were getting more and more complex. At first it was fun: hearing the fans go crazy whenever Yeonjun touched his face on the stage, seeing the comments section flood with nonsense every time the oldest caressed his cheeks or called him cute...

But then things started getting out of control inside his head. "You shouldn't let Kai hug you so often.", Yeonjun laughed, "The fans will start doubting the existence of Yeonbin." Soobin laughed, softly punching him on the shoulder.

"It's OK", said Beomgyu, "Actually I read that lately MOA is shipping us."

"Who?", asked Yeonjun.

"You and me."

Soobin forced a smile, and the first thing that came to his mind was Why am I not actually laughing at that?

"Oh, well, in that case Sookai can take the spotlight", answered the oldest, and Soobin's fingers trembled a little bit. His smile became even harder to show.

Pull yourself together, he thought to himself. What kind of stupid reaction is this you're having?

That had happened a long time ago, but things only got worse because of the pandemic situation. No tours, no travel, just doing some live performances and TO-DO. And other than that, spending a lot of time at home with the members. Spending a lot of time with Yeonjun, who had a preference for sitting near Soobin at all times... And that freaking thing he had for touching the younger's face.

He sighed at the thoughts, and covered his face with his elbow, still resting his head on the couch. Why am I still investing so much time into thinking about all this nonsense?

"Are you bored, Soobin? Do you wanna play next?", Yeonjun asked, not even turning his head to look at him.

"Huh? No, thanks."

"You sure? You sound bored."

"I'm fine... Are you keeping track of everything I do, or what?"

Yeonjun chuckled softly with his eyes still fixed on the screen, but pressed the wrong button at the wrong time, and his character in the videogame died.

Beomgyu laughed out loud at this, and pointed to the screen. "Now we're even. Two more levels to go. The loser will have to kiss Soobin to take him out of his boredom."

"Dumbass", answered the guy on the couch.

"If I lose I get to kiss cute bunny Soobinie? Might as well embrace defeat right now", Yeonjun's giggle was followed by Beomgyu's hysterical laugh.

Soobin didn't smile at all. He stood up and left the room, but not without throwing a cushion aimed at Yeonjun's nape.
