"JER!" Amber screamed when Jeremy lost the grip on the positive terminal and slided down. I was far from even blurting a word.

I kept my palm on my mouth in disbelief. How could he loose so early? He was one of the strongest and best ones who came out from the first test. Jeremy could not give up so soon.

But it was late, he was already slipping down and there was no chance of him coming back. He was more deserving than me.

Amber went behind me and kept her forehead on my shoulder. "He is gone...He was really a nice friend you know." Amber spoke on my shoulder.

Just a moment later I saw Jeremy, he didn't fall instead he held another handle through his injured hand, it was healed by then. I sighed in relief and shrugged so that Amber would move.

"Amber! Jeremy's back!" Her post actions were in a full on speedy mode. She swished towards the edge of the wall and jumped up and down and of course her squeals of delight followed.

"YEAH! JEREMY YOU CAN DO THIS!!"

A buzzer rang and the charges took the line pattern. Jeremy didn't get wrong and easily got the right path. The time gone was enough for everyone to see that Jeremy was the last one to reach the top.

Once he had climbed up, I and Amber hugged him tightly. Again our trio hug took place which we had that morning but the subject to it changed.

"Whoa! Why this sudden attention at me?" Jeremy muffled.

"Idiot! We thought you were almost about to fall and loose!" Amber barked, still positioned in the hug.

"You are a friend now, Jer. We care for you too." I said softly and with that we parted away. He smiled at both of us and sighed in content.

"Thanks." He said, flushed. Now I got it, he was very shy to accept anything offered to him. The new friendship of ours gave him the same feeling. I patted his shoulder and worded a 'well done'.

I observed others who were also with us. There in the group I saw the girl who was called first in the first test. She high fived a guy whom I never failed to recognize. He was the one who didn't have a single problem while ascending the handles.

He was no positive no negative, he was neutral.

I tried to find a physical difference between him and others like me, but found none. Only his charge differed, also which he had none?

"Wonderful! Wonderful!" Cheered a tall lady who came on a Segway. She was a black lady with black curly hair; her dress glowed in the darkness of the night. Probably every pair of eyes looked at her.

"Congratulations to all of you! Myself, Andrea Fillips the headmistress of this Institute," She paused to check whether everyone of listening and continued, "Well, just to inform you, three out of you were not able to pass the test and I presume that you are the final thirty two of the next batch!"

Two men came from behind her and stood on both of her sides. May they were her bodyguards.

"For now, I want all of you to make lines according to your charges. Positives please come on my right and negatives on my left." I involuntarily walked towards the right and other negatives on her left.
