Chapter Four: Two Cities

I, Amber and Jeremy were together the whole time while we strolled in the shopping complex. It was enormous like any other structure here and it had its aura. I didn't go with it that well but I enjoyed a few snacks.

They had normal dishes like we had on earth and also many new ones. I didn't try them though, I decided on tasting them later.

Now you must be thinking that in this big complex, all I was doing was just eat, but you are wrong there. I actually I got myself a pair of slippers and shades.

Talking about Amber then I must say she was buying a wardrobe even though we were gifted with a new one in the saucer ship.

Jeremy was quite like her, if I would have met them together before, I would have thought that they are twins. He helped her in shopping and they went on with their chit chat.

Sometimes I feel like a third wheel but it's me who won't talk. It's a situation similar, when me, Tessa and Mom are together. Amber was chirpy and she always bounced when something attractive caught her eyes.

But this time, it was me who saw a different shop. An accessories shop. Not for beauty but for powers. Confused? Powers of competitives.

"Amber! Look what's there." I crisped in a cheerful tone. She actually got amazed at my sudden brightness and whirled to me. She followed my finger towards the shop and frowned.

"You like it?" She said in a 'duh' tone. My face dropped but I nodded to her.

"I and Jer were planning to watch a movie, so do you want to come with us?"

"What movie?"

"Oh...it's some 10D movie. Just a half an hour movie. Would you like to come?"

Dilemma. I was in a dilemma. 10D movie or Shop? I gave this a deep thought and when my brain got worked out through my heavy exercise of thinking, I came to a conclusion.

"Shop. I will visit the shop and join you guys later. Just tell me, where this theatre is."

"It’s on the next floor, you will find it." Jeremy told. I don't know how they get along so well. Amber had already started calling him by a nickname whereas I was the one who met Jeremy first.

"Alright then. I will come there in half an hour." We bid a goodbye to each and made our ways to our destinations. I am sorry for the exaggeration.

I tapped inside the shop, its name was written in neon yellow. 'Poletode' was its title, the name itself stated what's going to be in it.

I submitted my one shopping bag in the bags counter. The bags counter wasn't anything normal.....it was very fascinating.

We ourselves have to keep the bag and the rack in which our bag was placed has a password which we only have to set. The password will be stored in a computer of the counter, in case we forgot it.

When I got over the amazement, I went in. Compared to the other showrooms here, it was not brightened with lights maybe to give you the vibes of entering a powerful place.

A lady welcomed me and when her eyes fell on my citizen batch she looked a little shocked but instantly put up a smile. "Ma'am, you are one of our early customers today!"

I frowned at her, "Early? Isn't it late evening here?"

"It is. But today's the day of competitives and hardly someone enters our shop today." she stated, disappointment laced her words.
