The boat kept on moving with a good pace due to the force of our hands. There were two paddles and two of us competitives used them and the rest pushed the the water behind. The boat seemed to take only ten people but it accommodated the fifteen of us comfortably.

I was pushing the water behind. It was muddy and polluted. It didn't seem like forest water, as if the city's contaminated water was replaced by the clear stream which is often found in a forest. Surprisingly the river didn't have any crocodiles or alligators or any other creature like that.

After about fifteen minutes we reached near a place where the river descended down the hill. The flow of water was now faster and no more hands were required to push the river water back, the boat went with the flow. It was the time to push the river near the bank otherwise we would go down with the boat.

Luckily we got till the bank of the river on time and one by one everyone got down. Nobody flowed away with the water. We were still in the same forest but it seemed that we were in the outskirts of it.

"Hey! I can see skyscrapers. I think there is a city out there. We can go there after crossing this forest." Someone shouted. There actually were the skyscrapers, it was no mirage. The forest seemed danger free and so the bank of the river, but you never know anything could have happened.

Without any further discussion all of us made our way in hopes of finding the city. I hoped that the city should not move further away from us as we crossed the forest. This was the result of solving to many problems, the more you near the solution the problem keeps on enlarging.

Amber reunited with me and Jer and thought of staying close by. All of us were covered in sweat and fatigue laced our movements. I wasn't able to take a single step properly. The yester-evening sports were finally kicking in the unwanted pain. Playing vigorously without warm up, after a long time results in unexpected cramps and muscle pain.

That did happen to me at the time when I required most of my energy. Some of the girls and even guys stumbled down on the grass which was on the outskirts of the next jungle in front of us. I didn't want any more deaths, already watching the prior deaths of the competitives was creepy.

"We can rest after we reach the city. The forest isn't over yet and so you know it isn't safe." The leader boy said. Many people's faces dropped in disapproval. No one agreed with him accept for his friends who also looked like they wanted to rest. No matter what, my body was screaming for a short nap.

"Then you go ahead. Because we all want to rest for a while. Besides to fight the so called danger in the forest we need some energy which I guess nobody expect for you have." Diego explained and instantly everyone nodded to him and of course I was one of them. He and a small group of four guys were standing near the edge of the river.

"But don't you want water? I am dying of thirst!" The leader said in frustration. There was a truth behind his words. "The quicker we reach the city the quicker we can get some supplies."

"I agree with Diego. I think it won't hurt if we take a short break. It's probably the best for all of us. I know all of us are thirsty but we can manage to stay without water for a few more hours." Genelia gave her opinion and then it was settled that we were taking some rest.
