Jeremy stood on the door of my dorm. Only two minutes were left for seven. He used to go for football in the evening until dinner was served but that day he hadn't. He was leaning on the door, arms crossed but once he saw me he composed himself.
I washed my face in the cafeteria washroom so there were no tear tracks on my face. "How was she? Still talked like she used to?" Jeremy had a habit of being furtive about his questions. He never put them straightforward.
"Very much." I answered and went inside my dorm. I asked him to come in and he did. I sat on my bed and he summoned a chair to seat in front of me.
"Nothing to say? Does that mean--?" He discontinued.
"Does that mean she said, 'I wish I had never met you'? Did you mean this? If you did then you are right."He was taken a back because of what I said or because of the way I said it. I was being mean to Jeremy for no reason.
"Certainly wrong,"And he sat next to me on the bed edge."I thought you would come along with Amber. That was too much to expect but this was too less to."I slid my hand under his and leaned my head on his shoulder. I stopped crying over her.
I have since two months but that day Amber gave me hopes. It is a dangerous thing to feel. Hope.
She was right, I had Jeremy and Diego and she had some friends who always made her feel out of the league, like she can't fit with them that she was from some other place. I wanted to tell her that she still had us that we could do anything to make her feel good but she voluntarily objected on that.
I snuggled closer to Jeremy, he smelt so nice and calm. He released his arm from my hold only to pull me closer by my shoulder. I rubbed my head on his shoulder, it was soothing in an odd sort of way. He didn't mind it. Slowly he also leaned his head on mine and in and few seconds I felt a sniff in my hair. Was Jeremy smelling my hair? That sounded gross but felt nice.
Then he turned his head a little and pecked my temple. I let out a deep breath that I didn't know was holding. I tilted my head a little so that his lips accessed my right cheek. They traced down from my cheek to my neck and his hand started travelling up to my waist. I left out a moan as I fell on my bed and he was on top of me. He left kisses all over my neck and slowly he traveled back up to capture my lips with his.
I didn't hesitate at all to pull him down on me as the kiss ignited my soul. This was nothing like reading a kissing scene in a book or watching your favourite characters kiss in a movie, it was phenomenal. His lips were soft, mine moved in sync with them. As if they were speaking a language of their own. My stomach was about to explode with the amount of excitement in it. We broke off to breath and immediately crashed back.
He was hungrily kissing me and so was I. His hands were on the either side of my face and mine ran in his hair. We slowed down little by little and stopped. We sat up and our foreheads were still touching. I was smiling and trying to breath properly. Once I caught some air in my system I whispered,"That was my first kiss,"
"Really?" He asked now smiling from ear to ear.
"Ya,"
"Was it worth the wait?" A look of guilt coloured his face for just a second but I saw it.
"Ya, It felt good."We chuckled at this and just couldn't stop it. It was like we were high. Jeremy finally settled down. He stared at me for a minute or two, smile still lacing his lips. His eyes had tremendous care and this time something new, passion for me. He loved me. Passionately. I wished for matching that but I couldn't.
