Battle of New York

Tony POV
We brought Aurora back to Stark tower with us where she's been staying for the past few days. Her dad ended up leading an alien invasion into New York. Rhodey had stayed with her when we went out to the fight. He later told me how she had watched the news hoping he would mention her or come to get her but he never did. Rhodey ended up turning the live broadcast off when he saw me flying the missile into the portal because Aurora became very scared and began to shake. He had a hard time calming her down and convincing her I'd be alright. When I came back that night she practically leaped into my arms wearing her cute little pajamas with crowns on them Nat had bought her. "ooooooo" I groaned feeling my injuries but non the less happy to hold her. Then suddenly I was fine not hurt at all. I moved her to my side and lifted up my shirt the injuries were healed. "Did you do this princess?" I asked her, she smiled and nodded. "That's amazing kid!" I laughed throwing her into the air and catching her again. Rhodey watched us with a smirk "hey Colonel what's wrong never seen royalty before?" he chuckled "no I haven't but I've also never seen you so happy Tones". I bit my lip "ah well I mean how can I not be with this one" I carried the little Asgaurdian to her room and flopped her down into the bed. "Ok now go to sleep" I said brushing her hair from her face "tomorrow we'll do anything you want ok?" She nodded hiding everything but her eyes under the blanket. "Look at you" I grinned "I bet you could teach Natasha a thing or two" she giggled. "If I hear you suddenly know Russian we're gonna have a problem" she laughed even harder. "Alright goodnight little majesty" I whispered as I walked out of the room turning off the lights barely catching her softly whisper "goodnight dad" unconsciously before falling asleep.

Tony POV
I laid in bed feeling super tense. Before Aurora has always slept in Pepper and my bed because she had been scared the first night and the nights after that I was scared she might get scared again so I brought her in with us but Pepper said she had to learn to sleep on her own tonight. After another hour of restlessness from me she finally snapped. "FINE!! Go get her!" Pepper laughed. I bolted down the hall and grabbed her out of her bed. She was in with us before she could even wake up all the way. I got comfortable under the blankets with my two girls hugging them to me. Pepper put her arm over Aroura and I as well. I was so happy we were all here and safe after everything that happened. "Tomorrow night shes sleeping in her room" Pepper whispered but I pretend to already be asleep.
