"Sirius Black? I've heard Molly and Arthur talking about him, but they'd always quiet down when I came near. Never let me see the news articles about him." Ophelia says.

I had just finished telling them everything Arthur had told me back at the Leaky Cauldron. About how Sirius Black is out to get me.

"Let me get this straight, Sirius Black has escaped from Azkaban to come after you?" Ron questioned

"They'll catch Black, won't they? I mean everybody is out looking for him." Hermione said nervously.

"Sure... except no ones ever broken out of Azkaban before and he's a murderous, raving, lunatic" Ophelia adds not really helping the situation.

"Thanks, Lia," I say bitterly to the girl.

"Anyways, it doesn't really matter does it?" She continued with a shrug of her shoulders.

"What do you mean Lia?" I ask her.

"Harry, every year something bad happens and every year we face it and we win. First year was the stone and the second year was the whole Tom Riddle and Ginny madness. And in both of them, we ended up winning. So whatever comes at us this year we'll face it, all of us, together." She gave me a reassuring smile.

I never really noticed how beautiful her smile is. With just one smile she could have the world at her knees. That smile could - wait. What am I saying?! Lia is my friend, always has been, and always will be. The feelings I have for her are strictly friendly, nothing more...right?

When I finally got out of my thoughts, I realized I was still staring at her.

"Take a picture, Potter, it'll last longer " She winked at me and my cheeks went red. I turned away trying to hide the heat that had spread all over my face, when the wheels of the train started squeaking loudly. The train coming to a stop.

"What's going on?" Hermione asks. "We can't be there already."

I got up and opened our compartment door to check outside. I could see that many other students were doing the same when the train suddenly jolted harshly sending me back.

"What going on?" Ron asks.

"I don't know. Maybe we've broke down." I reply at the same time as the lights give out.

"Harry?" Lia whispers inching closer to me.

"It's ok." I reassure her grabbing her hand and giving it a squeeze.

"Ouch, Ron. That was my foot." Hermione says as Ron makes his way to look out the window to try and see something.

"Do you see anything?" Ophelia asks him.

"Yeah... there's something moving out there." The power comes back just to go out again. "I think someone's coming aboard."

The train jolts again. The window then starts icing over, the atmosphere completely changing. I looked to my right and saw Ophelia already looking at me, that's when I noticed how cold it was. I could see everyone's breath and feel Lia's trembling body next to me.
