After spending the entire day alone, I decided to meet up with Harry and the others once classes ended.
I really wanted to visit Hagrid. Today they were going to execute Buckbeak, and I wanted to be there for him. But truth be told, I didn't think I could watch it. I loved that big bird since Hagrid brought him for our first lesson. It wasn't fair for him to be killed.
As I walked through the halls of Hogwarts, I accidentally bumped into a Hufflepuff boy, causing him to drop all his belongings. I quickly knelt to help him pick up his things.
"My Merlin, I'm so sorry. I should really watch where I'm going," I apologized.
"Yeah, you should," he replied aggressively, also kneeling to gather his items.
"It was an accident," I repeated, now more annoyed than sincere. He didn't have to get so worked up over a mishap.
"The real accident is you being here. I can't believe Dumbledore lets someone like you in this school." I let his stuff scatter on the floor again.
"Excuse me? What the bloody hell is that supposed to mean?" I stood up, looking down at him.
"It means you don't belong here, Black. Your dad's a psychopath, and I'm willing to bet the apple doesn't fall far from the tree." He stood up, now looking down at me.
"Well then, you must be a real pillock. If I were you, I wouldn't test me unless you want to see just how much of a daddy's girl I am," I said menacingly.
"Is that a threat?" He laughed, walking closer. "You're not all that threatening. Maybe you should be put in your place—"
"Back off, git!" Harry appeared, pushing the boy back and standing between us.
"I expected more from you, Potter, than hanging around with the likes of her."
"I suggest you leave. Now." I could see Harry gripping his wand through his pocket.
"Is that supposed to scare me? You're just a third-year boy who thinks he's special."
"You're absolutely right." I smiled as George appeared behind the boy, casually putting his hand around his shoulder.
"You shouldn't be scared of him..." Fred showed up on the other side, trapping the boy between them.
"...but you should be scared of what we'll do if you bother Ophelia again," George said calmly.
"Even though our sister has a bit of crazy in her genes, it doesn't compare to the amount we have when it comes to protecting her," Fred added, dusting off the boy's shoulders with a smile.
"How about you go run along and enjoy your dull life, yeah, mate?" George pushed the boy back.
"Oh, and Zacharias, if we see you near our sister again, we'll make what Sirius Black did look like child's play. Carry on now, mate. Toodle-loo," Fred waved him off with a smile as Zacharias ran away scared.
