"Remember, these visits to Hogsmeade village are a privilege," McGonagall said as the students filed out of Hogwarts, ready to go to Hogsmeade. "If your behavior reflects poorly on the school, that privilege will not be extended again."

Ron, Hermione, Harry, and I tried to leave without McGonagall noticing, but she did, as always.

"No permission form signed, no visiting the village. That's the rule, Potter."

"Come on, Minnie, please? Just this one time," I begged, giving her my best puppy dog eyes.

"Those with permission, follow me. Those without, stay put," Filch's harsh voice commanded.

"But professor, I thought if you signed it, then I could..." Harry tried.

"I can't. Only a parent or guardian can sign. Since I am neither, it would be inappropriate. I'm sorry, Potter. That's my final word." With that, she left.

"Forget about it, guys. See you later." Hermione and Ron left with a little wave, while I stayed back.

"I could stay here with you if you'd like. I kind of don't want to go anyway," I smiled lightly at him.

"Thank you, Ophelia, but—"

"But you've got a date with us, don't you, Fifi." Theo came walking towards us, ruffling my hair as he passed by.

"I'll stay here with you, Harry... all you have to do is ask," I whispered so Theo wouldn't hear. But then Draco came walking towards us, putting his arm around my shoulder.

"It would be incredibly selfish of you if you asked, Potter. Just because you can't go out and have fun doesn't mean Ophelia can't."

"Shut it, Draco. Don't listen to him, Harry." I shrugged Draco's arm off my shoulder, but he stayed next to me. "That's what I do," I said, sending Draco a little glare. He just rolled his eyes in response.

"It's fine, Lia. You go have fun. I've got homework to do anyway." He smiled sheepishly at me. My face fell a little. I did actually want to spend time with him. I was hoping he would say yes...

"Come on, Gorgeous, we haven't got all day." Draco took hold of my hand and started leading me away. I turned around, giving Harry one last glance, seeing him walk inside.

"That was rude, Draco. Why must you act that way towards him?"

"I don't like him. He thinks he's amazing just because he's, what? The Chosen One? It makes me sick."

"He's nothing like that. Trust me, he does not enjoy being the Chosen One."

"Sure he doesn't. Doesn't like the attention, the praise, the special treatment he gets from Dumbledore. I don't see why anyone would like that," Theodore said sarcastically.

"Jealous much, Theo?" I said, nudging him. He just locked his arm with mine and continued walking.

"Absolutely. Do you know how much I could get away with if I were the Chosen One? I could probably smoke a blunt in front of McGonagall and still get 50 points for my house." I had to laugh at that because it was true; the bias Dumbledore had for Gryffindor.
