Chapter 19

"Lucas, we'll go and get something to eat soon," I promised him while rolling my eyes.

"But I'm hungry now..." He whined.

"The store is right there," I pointed the record store opposite us, "Give me 10 minutes and then we can go to Burger king."

We were in town because Lucas wanted some new clothes and I couldn't go to town without visiting Austin at work. But Lucas was complaining because he was apparently "starving" and wanted food now. He was such a baby sometimes.

"Fine," He sighed, "Let's go see your boyfriend..."

"Thank you," I blushed slightly as we walked into the old record store.

Like usual there was no-one in there except Austin who was sat behind the counter with his feet up. The bell went off as we walked into the shop and Austin looked up from the counter. When he saw us a big goofy smile appeared on his face and he stood up.

I smiled back as I walked over to the counter, "Hey..."

"Hey yourself," he replied and bit his lip. I don't think he realised how attractive he was when he did that.

He looked around to see if anyone was about and when he saw that there wasn't, he leant over and kissed me sweetly.

"Alright, alright...easy on the PDA," Lucas called over while he was looking at the records.

"Then turn away," Austin called back before pulling me by my neck and kissing me again.

I chuckled and moved away, "Stop!"

He winked and pulled away.

"So, when do you finish?" I asked him.

"In an hour," He replied.

"We'll wait for you and we'll get lunch," I suggested.

"No, no, no, no," Lucas walked over, "You promised me food in 10 minutes."

"I'm sure you can wait," I told him.

He sighed, "Huh...fine."

"Great," Austin smiled and leant over the counter again, "So...what do you have planned for tonight?"

I pretended to think about it, "Well...I was just going to stay at home."

"No you're not..." He said and his breath tickled my lips.

The bell rang signalling someone walking in so we both jumped back away from each other. Austin glanced at the door and his eyes widened at who walked in. I turned to look who it was but I didn't recognise him. He was even smaller than me with long curly brown hair and tanned skin. He looked Hispanic and was probably slightly older than me. He turned to look at Austin and a smile appeared on his face.

"Austin?" The guy grinned, "I didn't expect to see you back here."

"Vic..." Austin replied nervously before glancing at me.

I turned to Lucas who was also shocked at the sight of the guy in front of us. Who was he?!

"When did you get back here?" Vic walked over to Austin.

"I-I've been back for a few months," He stumbled slightly.

Vic smirked, "I'm only in town for a week. If I knew that you were here...I would have stayed longer..."

Vic bit his lip and winked at Austin. I could feel the anger build up inside of me as Austin looked away awkwardly. Who was Vic? And why was he clearly flirting with Austin? Lucas was glaring at Vic while Austin glanced at me sheepishly.
