Everything felt perfect. It was a couple of weeks after Austin had opened up to me and we were closer than ever. I really, really liked him and I knew I was falling pretty hard for him. But that wasn't the only reason why things were perfect. Vic had travelled back to San Diego which meant no more harassing my boyfriend which I was ecstatic about. Also, I broke up for summer in a couple of weeks which meant I could spend the whole time with Austin. I had literally never been happier.

It was hot Saturday morning and I was meant to be meeting Austin at Tino's so we could go to this run down café in town. It turned out to be one of our favourite places because not many people from school choose to go there and even if we did see anyone we knew, we always sat in the booth that was hidden in the back. It was nice to be out in the open even if we were still kind of hidden.

Even though it was a short walk, I still plugged my headphones in to listen to My Chemical Romance. My head bobbed slightly as "Destroya" played out and I couldn't help but wonder if me and Austin were going to be making similar moans tonight. I blushed and giggled at my own dirty thoughts but tried to wipe the smirk off of my face. I would probably look like an idiot if anyone saw me.

I had barely gotten down my street when I saw this guy leaning against the wall. He was about 6 foot tall with longish sandy blonde hair and stubble. He was smirking slightly at me and it instantly made me feel uncomfortable. I didn't get a good vibe from him and I sped up slightly as I walked past him. I kept my gaze to the ground but peeked behind me to see if he was still there but...he was following me. I started to get a panicky feeling in my chest and I considered just running the rest of the way to Lucas's but I didn't want to look suspicious. I started powerwalking even faster when I felt a hand clamp down on my shoulder. I jumped and spun around to be met by the same guy with a creepy smile on his face.

"Hello, it's Alan isn't it?" He asked with a strong British accent.

I unplugged my headphones and glanced at him nervously. How did he know my name?

"Um...y-yeah..." I responded, "D-do I know you?"

"No," He chuckled, "My name is Danny and I'm a friend of Austin's."

"Oh..." I replied quite unsure what to say. Austin had never mentioned a Danny before.

"How do you know my name?" I whispered.

"We met at Tino's party," He informed me.

"We did?" I asked. I mean I know I was drunk but I would have remembered him surely? Well obviously not.

"Yeah we did," He chuckled, "I take it that you were a little bit smashed..."

"Something like that..." I chuckled nervously, "Well...it was nice seeing you but I have to go..."

"Are you meeting Austin?" He asked.

I furrowed my eyebrows, "How did you know?"

"Lucky guess..." He shrugged, "Would you mind if I came with you? It would be good just to see how he's doing..."

"Erm...okay?" I nodded and started walking with Danny walking next to me.

"So...you two seem quite close..." He stated.

I give him a strange look. I really wasn't getting a good feeling from this guy. How the hell did he know that we were close if he only saw us once at the party?

"I've seen you both around..." He answered my unasked question, "So...are you dating?"

"No," I lied quickly, "We're just friends..."

"Whatever you say mate," He winked and my insides went cold.

We were nearly at his house now which I was relieved for. I was never good with strangers anyway so I was terrible with creepy strangers.
