Kaitlin's POV
I slowly open my eyes and see Ross, his family, my family and a few doctors around me.
"What happened?" I asked trying to sit up holding my head.
"You lost too much blood babe. lay back down" Ross says.
I slowly nod and lye back down.
I lay there silently for awhile as different doctors put different kinds of IV's in my arms.
Everyone is gathered around me nervously staring. It's awkwardly silent to where I can't even fall asleep. no matter how hard I try.
finally i speak up.
"So what am I supposed to do?" I ask.
"Lay there patiently" says one the doctors say.
I raise my eyebrows and purse my lips together.
A few more minutes have passed and I'm getting really irritated. everyone is still staring at me as if they're waiting on me to do something. but I'm doing what i was told to do.
"What are we waiting for?" I ask.
"Test results" ross asks.
"Well why is everyone staring at me? I don't have the test results" i say with an attitude.
"We're just anxious" my mom says.
"And I'm just ready to get out of here" i say.
"Would you like to go to sleep?" A doctor asks.
"No. that's okay" i say.
"Here. i have some medicine we can give you to help you sleep" the doctor says not listening to me.
"No thanks. I'm okay" i say.
"Here. just swallow this small pill" the doctor says again. insisting on me taking the stupid pill.
"No thank you. i am okay" i say getting upset.
"Just take it" the doctor says trying to put the pill into my mouth.
I slap the pill out of the doctors hand and it lands on the ground.
"Will ya listen now?!" I scream.
"Calm down. we're just trying to help" another doctor says.
"I don't care. i just want to go home!"i say.
"Someone has a stubborn streak" a third doctor says.
"Oh! I'll show you stubborn!" I say trying to inch my way towards the doctor.
But all of the cords and other machines were holding me back.
So I reluctantly lean my head back and just wait for the time to pass.
I hear a few words here and there from different doctors and family members but zone them all out to focus on the fact that we'll be going home soon... Hopefully...
