Chapter 20

Kaitlin's POV

We spent awhile at the park until i get a call.

"It's my mom" i say.

Me: hello?

Mom: heyyy!! Where are you?

Me: oh. I'm at the park with Ross.

Mom: why didn't you tell me where you were going? I got worried.

Me: sorry mom. You were asleep and I thought you would be fine since it was to go see Ross.

Mom: it's just... I got scared that something happened to you.

Me: I'm fine momm.

Mom: okay sweetie. Well, you have fun.

Me: okay. Bye mom

Mom: byeee. I love you!

"love you too momm..... Bye" i say hanging up.

I look over at Ross who was smiling.

"What..." I say.

"Come with me" he says grabbing my arm and pulling me to the car.

"Ross... Where are we going?" I ask once we both get in the car.

"You'll see when we get there" he says still smiling.

"Ugh finee" i say giving up.

We drive for another 10 to 15 minutes until we reach a familiar place. the beach.

"Ross, why are we at the beach?" I ask.

"Just come with me" he says opening my door, grabbing my hand and locking our fingers in each others.

After about 5 minutes of walking Ross walks a little faster to get ahead of me then stands still once he gets to a certain spot.

"Recognize this spot?" He asks.

"I don't know... What is it?" I ask kinda sarcastically.

"Where we got engaged...." He says.

"Ohhhh righhttt!!!!!" I say giggling.

"Haha yep!" He says.

"Not trying to sound pushy or anything but... Why are we here?" I ask.

He pulls out a picnic blanket that I didn't even realize he had. then grabs a picnic basket that was hidden behind the sand dunes.

"We're having a picnic!" He says.

"Okay!" I say sounding like a little kid.

We sit down and start eating what was in the picnic basket.
After we were finish the sun was just starting to set so we decided to stay and watch.
After the sun was fully down i go to stand up but Ross pulls me back down.

I look at him with a confused look.

"Lay down" he says lying down.

I lay down next to him and he grabs my hand.
"Isn't it beautiful out here at night?" Ross asks.

"It is..." I say.

We lay there, looking up at the stars as each one popped up.

I look over at Ross who was looking up at the sky smiling. Amazed by everything he saw.
I smiled too at the thought of him being so happy.

He looks over at me and kisses my forehead.

"I love you" he says.

"I love you too" i say smiling at him.
"More than you will ever know"
