Last Chapter-Chapter 29

Quick Authors Note:
I've decided that since I've been super busy lately and haven't been updating properly that this chapter will be the last chapter of the book. and the last chapter of this series.
I apologize for the inconvenience but it's just not fair to You nor I.
It stresses me knowing that I have to update while having a busy schedule and two other books.
Again, I'm truly sorry but I hope you like this last chapter. I will try to make it my best.

Ross's POV

I walk back into Kaitlin's room and see her sleeping.

'Awww' i think to myself.

I walk over and place a kiss on her forehead. but her forehead is surprisingly cool.

I pull back with a confusing look on my face.

I put my pointer finger and my middle finger on her neck. just to be sure.

But I feel nothing. no pulse. nothing.

I start panicking.

I quickly run out of her room and find the first employee I can.

"HELP!! HELP!!! I think my wife is dead!!!" I scream to a nurse with tears pouring down my face.

We rush to her room and the nurse does everything she can to find her pulse.

She hurries to get a doctor while I stay by her side the whole time. holding her hand and whispering "it's gonna be okay" to both her and me.
I was a complete mess.

This can't be happening.

The doctor rushes in with a stethoscope and puts it to her chest.

After a moment he says

"She's alive. barely"

I sigh in relief wiping away my tears.

"It'll be okay. we'll do everything we can" he says.

"Thank you" I say

"Will be back in a minute with more tests."

"Okay" I say

I want to just hold her, and cuddle her, and tell her everything's going to be okay but I can't.

Tears start streaming out of my eyes again as I put my head in my hands.

The doctor and a few of his nurses rush in with equipment.
As I sit there and watch they hook Kaitlin up to more cords and put in more IV's.

Once it looks like they're close to being done I stand up and walk over to her bed. grabbing her hand.

After a moment I hear coughs coming from in front of me.

As I look down I see her eyes slowly opening.

"Ross?" She says.

"Shhh BabyGirl. everything's going to be okay" I say smiling brushing her hair out of her face and crying of happiness.
