Chapter 3

Kaitlin's POV.

I wake up and check my phone. the time was 10:00.

'If i don't et up now i'm gonna be late meeting ross.' i think to myself. i get up grab some clothes and head to the shower.

I take the fastest shower possible, get out, get dressed, and do my make up all with in an hour.

Right as i'm leaving i grab my purse and my phone and go to my car. as i'm backing out of my drive way 'pass me by' comes on the radio. i catch myself singing along and automatically stop.

The rest of the ride to the mall i was humming pass me by because it got stuck in my head.

Once i get there i pull into the first empty parking spot i see and turn the car off. i get out of my car and start heading for the door.

When i walk in the air condition breezes over my face and i instantly feel comfortable.

After a few minutes of not seeing ross i decide to text him.

Me: i'm here. where are you?

He almost instantly replies back saying

Ross: in the food court.

I lock my phone and slip it into my purse the start walking to the food court.

Right when i get there i see a 6 foot tall blonde boy holding flowers and dressed Very nicely.

I walk over to him and he smiles then hands me the flowers. i take them and smile. he smiles back, shyly.

"Listen Kaitlin, i'm really sorry for what i did. it was the stupidest thing that could've possibly done and i feel terrible. the only reason i kissed her was because i was trying not to think about you so much. because every time i did, i would cry. the girl meant nothing to me. your the only girl that will ever mean something to me. I Love You." ross says.

"Will you forgive me?"

After a few moments of thinking i finally say

"Yes ross. i forgive you."

Right after those words exit my mouth his face lights up like a christmas tree.

He pulls me close to him and kisses me. something that i have missed for three months. i know that doesn't seem that long but to me thats like eternity.

After we pull apart i say

"I missed you blondie"

He just smiles then pulls something out of his jacket. there he held 5 plane tickets.

"There for you, mom and dad, and your friends. so you can come on tour with me and the rest of the band." he says.

"Ross...i don't know what to say" i say.

"You don't have to say anything. just take them." he says.

"Ok" i say taking the tickets and hugging him.

I pull out my phone and text kayla.

Me: hey girl! you'll never believe what happened.

Kayla: what?

Me: come to the mall with chemaiyah, stormie and mark. then i'll tell you.

Kayla: ok were on our way.

I look up at ross and smile.

"I've missed that smile of yours" he says kissing my cheek.

I smile and hug him again. not wanting to let go.

After a few minutes i get a text.

Kayla:hey girl! were here. where are you?

Me: the food court.

Kayla: ok. see you in a few.

Me: ok :)

After about 5 minutes i see kayla and the rest of the crowd walking toward us.

"So whats the news?" chemaiyah asks.

"Well first off Kaitlin forgave me." ross says.

"Forgave you for what?" mark asks.

"It's nothing. let's just forget about it." stormie says.

"Ok. continue" mark says.

"And ross gave me these" i say holding out the five tickets.

Everyone gasps.

"Does this mean?" kayla says.

"Yep" ross says

"You guys are coming on tour with us!"

"Yay!" they all scream.

"You guys go home and get packed i'll meet you at the airport at 2:00" ross says.

"Ok see you there" stormie says.

We walk our separate ways and head home to pack.

After about an hour were all packed and ready.

"Airport here we come" mark says starting the car and backing out of the driveway.

Once we get there we meet up with ross and board the plane.

Me, ross, and kayla sit in one row while chemaiyah, stormie, and mark sit in the row beside us.

I end up falling asleep on ross's shoulder.

After what seems like only 3 minutes i feel someone lightly kiss my forehead. i wake up to ross leaned over me smiling.

"Were here" he says still smiling.

"Already?" i say.

"Yep!" he says.

I stand up and grab my stuff that i brought with me unto the plane.

As were walking to where we pick up our luggage i feel ross grab my free hand intertwining our fingers.

I look over at him and smile. he looks at me then smiles back.

We grab our stuff and walk out to a taxi that takes us back to there hotel.

"Are you sure theres enough rooms for us." I say.

"There's three bedrooms left. one for mom and dad, one for chemaiyah, and one for kayla." ross says.

"What about me?" i ask.

"Your sleeping with me" he says giving me a cheeky grin.

"Oh of course" i say smiling back.

We head to what's now Our room and set our stuff down.

"This is gonna be one fun trip" i say.

"You bet it is" ross says.
