Chapter 13

Kaitlin's POV

We arrive back in LA around noon so we all decide to go get some lunch out our favorite restaurant.

"And what would you like to drink ma'am?" The waiter says looking at me and smiling.

"Umm dr. Pepper please" i say.

"Okay dr. Pepper for the beautiful girl.
Anything else i can get you guys? He says.

"Just a plane ticket for far far away." Ross says out of nowhere with a sour look on his face.

The waiter gives him a look of confusion.

"Excuse me?" He says.

"Ya heard me. don't act dumb" Ross says.

"Ross!" Stormie says looking over at him.

"Listen man, I don't know what your problem is but I'd like if you don't take that tone with me." the waiter says.

"And I'd like you not to be checking out my wife but that's not gonna happen!" Ross says standing up to get face to face with this guy.

"Ross!! Sit down!!" I say pulling on his arm but he just shakes me off.

"What are you talking about?!?" The waiter says almost shouting.

"I saw how you were looking at her. i'm not stupid!" Ross says pushing him.

"Ross that's enough! I say standing up next to him.

"What's your problem!!!" The waiter says after getting up.

"YOU'RE MY PROBLEM" Ross screams going to punch him but luckily i grab his arm just in time.

"Jayy!!!" The waiter screams out for the manager.

"What's up?" Jay says jogging toward us.

"You need to kick these people out of here!" He says motioning towards us.

"What happened?" Jay asks.

"This guy pushed me and almost punched me!" He says to his manager (referring to Ross)

"Let's go" Jay says.

We all get up and follow him to the door.

"Girls you all ride with Stormie and Mark. I need to have a little talk with my husband.

We walk to the car and I hop in the Drivers seat leaving Ross in the Passengers side for once.

The car ride was silent until Ross spoke up.

"What's wrong with you?"

"What's wrong with me? Ross, what's wrong is what just happened." i say trying not to yell.

"I can buy you a Dr. Pepper when ever you want. you didn't need that man whore to bring you one.

"Ross! It's not about the stupid Dr. Pepper. it's about you. What was that??" I say.

"I don't know. i saw him staring at you and then when he called you beautiful i guess, I guess i just lost it." he says.

"What's so wrong with someone calling me beautiful?" I say.

"IM THE ONLY ONE WHO SHOULD CALL YOU BEAUTIFUL!! ME!! IM YOUR HUSBAND!! NO ONE ELSE!" Ross says getting worked up.

"I didn't get that mad when that waitress was checking you out." i say.

"Yeah well you and me, we're two different people" he says.

After that the rest of the car ride back to his parents house was silent.

Once we get home we get out and go in.
The rest of the crew were already there.

I storm in running straight up to my old room.

"I guess they didn't make up yet" I heard one of them say behind me.

A few minutes later i hear footsteps up the stairs and a knock on my door.

"Who is it?" I say.

"Babe? It's me, Ross" Ross says.

After a moment i say

"Come in"

He slowly opens the door and walks in.
He sits beside me on the bed and puts his arm around me.

"Babe, I'm sorry. that was a really stupid move and I shouldn't have embarrassed you like that. can you forgive me?" He says.

"I guess" i say still kind of upset.

"Thank you! You don't know how much this means to me" he says kissing my cheek.

"Actually.. Yes i do. We've gotten in arguements before" i say.

"I know. and every time i mean it" he says.

"Kaitlin" he says.

"What Ross?" I say.

"I love you" he says leaning away and looking at me.

"I love you too" i say leaning back on the bed.

After a few seconds he leans back too and takes my hand in his.

He rubs his thumb around the palm of my hand and on the back of my hand.

"You mean the world to me Kaitlin, that's why i got so jealous" he says.

"I know baby. and I'm sorry too" i say.

"There's no need for you to apologize BabyGirl-" he says.

He always knows those two simple words will always make me smile.

"I love it when you smile" he says.
