12th doctor - adventurer

Adventure was always your thing, ever since you were a kid it called to you. From exploring the large forest on the edge of the town, to running through the farmers fields at sunrise, you were always down for them.

Wondering through the forest with Clara by your side, you hummed lightly under your breath while you walked.

"It's nice to finally be on break." She grinned.

"Hey, it's only half term, plus you're the one who wanted to teach kids." You laughed back.

Clara laughed along with you and shook her head. You met her when you were doing a presentation at her school about safe exploring and you guys became fast friends.

"Well, not everyone can land a job as a professional trespasser."

"I prefer to term temporarily invading. I temporarily invade those places I go."

Rolling her eyes, Clara hopped over a large log and you followed suit, landing on your feet with ease.

A wide grin spread its way across your face as you noticed what was in front of you, a huge tree perfect for climbing.

"Doing it!" You yelled running away.

You grabbed the drone from Clara as you ran past her and wrapped its bag around your back as you jumped to grab the first branch, swinging yourself up.

Wiring seconds you were gone, so Clara decided this was the best place as any to set up the picnic.

"When's your friend getting here?!" You called down.

"Shortly I hope!" She yelled back.

"Cool!"

You scaled branches, swinging yourself about the tree until you were relatively high and took the drone out, setting it up on a thick branch in front of you.

"Let's see this place." You whispered.

Letting it take off, you begin to circle the forest you were in, showing off all the green trees and the occasional shimmer of water below.

You could see herds of deer jumping around in a field, horses, cows and cheep in others, it was spectacular.

"Come eat!" Clara yelled.

"Who on earth are you talking to like that?" A Scottish Male huffed.

You assumed that to be her friend and quickly put everything away, clambering down the tree with ease until you were near the end.

Wrapping your legs around a branch, you learn backwards and flopped upside down, you head poking out from the leaves.

An elderly man yelped and jumped back, making you and Clara burst out laughing.

"This is (Y/N). (Y/N), this is the doctor."

"How ominous, I like it." You hummed.

Taking the bag, you lowered it so Clara could grab it and stayed like that.

"You're a human, not a monkey, why are you hanging in a tree?" He sighed.

"Because I was up the tree."

"Well, now you're stuck. There's no way you can get down safely."

"Sure there is, watch!"

You lifted your legs, letting your body fall. Panicking, the doctor ran over but by the time he reached you, you were crouched on the floor with a massive smirk on your lips.

"See, safe!"

You stuck your thumb up and saw some blood.

"For the most part, probably cut on a branch."

Sitting down, you began going through your things to find a small plaster to cover the wound, while the doctor with a heavy sigh sat in front of you and Clara.

"This is boring, why did you ask me here?"

"Well, I can't go on many adventures with you anymore. I know you're bored and lonely, so I thought maybe (Y/N) would."

You weren't listening, too busy now eating and watching the footage you captured.

The doctor looked at you with a grumble.

"I don't know her, and she's reckless she'll get herself killer or something.."

"She'll be fine, she does that sort of stuff for a living. Plus she's really open minded. Just give her a chance."

The doctor looked at you again, this time you were laying on the grass while starting upwards.

Your gave off a type of chaotic but peaceful energy, the kind that not many people he'd met had.

"No."

"Yes."

"No."

"Doctor." Clara warned.

"Fine." He groaned, "Hey, human."

You lifted your top half up and smiled at him.

"Want to go on an adventure?"

"Hell yeah!"

"Great, just do as I say and you'll be fine."

Well, he said that, but you really weren't fine and you nearly died multiple times, he was expecting you to just leave.

You were pretty open about everything and quickly accepted all the new things about the universe you were taught. You learned quickly, but nearly dying was enough to scare any normal person away but with childish like demeanour, you turned to him with a huge grin.

"Another one!"

The doctor grinned back, and headed to the console.

"My pleasure."
