The master had nearly finished pulling you up when you suddenly disappeared from his grasp. He stumbled forward but quickly caught himself, wide eyed as he spotted the doctors TARDIS not far away.

"NO! DOCTOR YOU GIVE HER BACK!" He roared into the vastness of space.

Without a response, the doctors TARDIS disappeared.

He slammed his doors shut and ran to the console, he was going to find you, even if he had to rip this whole universe apart.

He knew exactly who you were now, and he wasn't about to let you slip through his fingers that easily.

You on the other were panting heavily, one moment you were being pulled up by the master, the next minute you were in the doctors arms as she held you.

"It's okay, it's okay, you're okay." She whispered.

"Doctor.."

You flung your arms around her and started to tremble, the reality of the situation crashing down on you.

You were kidnapped by the master, then you nearly died in space and he saved you. The look of absolute on his face, the way he called you love.

The doctor led you through the TARDIS towards your room, she sat you in your bed and sat down with you, rubbing your back.

"I'm so sorry it took so long. Did he hurt you? Are you okay?"

You took a shaky breath but shook your head.

"H. He didn't.. he didn't hurt me... he saved me.." you breathed.

The doctor said nothing at this, so you turned to her. There was an unreadable expression on her face, but it was quickly gone, replaced with her usual bubbly one.

"Well, you're safe now! How about we go find a nice relaxing planet to rest on, Huh?"

You smiled softly and shook your head again.

"I'd like to go to earth for a bit, if that's okay?"

"Of course! Of course!" We can visit yaz! And Ryan! And Graham!"

You followed behind the doctor, not saying anything. She noticed this and set the TARDIS flight path before turning to you.

"Are you sure you're alright?"

"Yeah... yeah. Just thinking." You replied.

She frowned but quickly smiled again as she pulled the leaver. It only took a minute but she was dragging you outside, and you happily breathed in the fresh air.

You were on the cliff that was on the edge of the city, and you sat down on the grass, laughing as the doctor tossed herself down next to you.

"What's on your mind?" She asked.

"Do... the master and I know each other some how?"

The doctor froze and reluctantly nodded her head.

"Yes, you do. You remember?"

"Not really, nothing specific. I keep having dreams about a man, and hearing sentences he'd, and something the master said."

This caught the doctors attention straight away, thinking it was something bad she asked you to tell her.

"He called me love?"

"Oh..." she muttered, "he must remember."

"Remember what?" You pleaded.

The doctor didn't reply and you sat in your own mind.

Love...

That word wasn't very intimate, people threw it around all the time, coming from the masters lips it wasn't something he'd just throw around. It's not who he was, sure he could say it if he wanted to, but it's the way he said it.

"Were we close? Me and the master?"

The doctor turned to you and leant back on her hands.

"You could say that." She nodded.

"Did I always travel with you?"

"No."

"Did I travel with him?"

Silence.

"Doctor! What aren't you telling me?!" You yelled in frustration.

The doctor stood up and brushed herself off, she stuffed her hands in her pockets and turned away.

"What I'm doing is for your own good."

"It's my memories that are missing!"

The doctor whipped around, a look of frustration and regret on her face.

"I know! There's nothing I can do about that!

You slumped your shoulders in defeat, nodding your head.

"I know..."

"Oh (Y/N)." The doctor sighed.

She walked over and pulled you in for a hug, letting you wrap your arms loosely around her, you stood there in your own sadness.

"How about we go get some fish and chips?" She asked.

"That sounds good."

She grinned and both of you made your way to the trail, only stopping when you were cut off by a TARDIS about a hundred metres ahead.

The master stepped out a furious look on his face.

"LET HER GO DOCTOR!" He roared, "GIVE HER BACK TO ME!"
