Sitting on the back of the bench, you ran a hand through your hair and sighed deeply as you waited for Martha.

"I'm sorry Martha isn't coming, it was me that sent that message." A Male said gently.

Flicking your eyes to the voice, you narrowed them in a glare and stuck your middle finger up at him making him raise his hands as he took a seat on the far end.

He'd been doing this for months, ever since Martha introduced you both saying you had the same tattoo, he showed up out of nowhere and tried to talk with you.

"Look, all I'm asking is for a chance, get to know me?"

"No, I will NEVER be with you doctor, not in a thousand years, not even if my life depended on it, I would rather be dead."

The doctors hearts dropped as you said that, why you hated him with such fury he didn't know, and he was at a loss, so he stood up and walked in front of you, reaching out he took your left hand and rolled up your sleeve, showing a blue phone box with a setting sun, then he did the same to himself showing the exact same tattoo.

"We're bound by fate, the universe made you for me and me for you."

You scoffed and jumped up, pushing past the doctor you started to walk down the path.

"I'm not buying it, I don't believe in any of that crap doctor."

The doctor went to say something but you started to run off, leaving him stood in the park alone. He turned his gaze to the floor and ran a hand through your hair.

"Keep trying..." he whispered.

The next time you saw the doctor, you were wondering around the centre of London, looking for something to do with Martha.

"(Y/N)! Martha!"

"For the love of...." you whispered.

"Come on, he's your soulmate." Martha whispered.

"Don't remind me." You hissed.

You watched as the doctor hugged Martha and he offered you a wide grin, pushing past him you marched towards the large shopping centre.

The doctor decided to tag along with the pair of you, he watched as you searched for thugs and wondered around, buying a few small pieces and laughed and joked with Martha, but you pretended he wasn't there.

"I'll text you later, got to head to work now." Martha smiled apologetically.

"Catch you later M."

Giving your friend a quick hug, you headed out into the golden lot city, the sunsets rays cast a soft light over everything, and the doctor kept his eyes glued to you.

"Can... I walk you home?" He asked gently.

You flicked your gaze to him and the doctor immediately looked away. For a moment you studied him, and you felt something but you pushed it away.

"No." You replied coldly.

Walking away, the doctor walked along side of you making you sigh in annoyance.

"Leave me alone."

"Nope."

"Why?"

"We're soulmates, you may not like it but if at least like to know you more. Come on~"

You ignored him and carried on walking, heading to the river where you took a seat along nearby and relaxed.

The doctor did the same and you gave up, there was no point pushing him away, he wasn't going to leave.

"What have I done to make you hate me? We don't even know each other..."

You heard the sadness in his voice and you felt a bit guilty, swallowing nervously you let out a breath and leant back, gazing at the golden sky.

"I don't hate you."

The doctors head snapped towards you in pure shock.

"Then why are you acting so cold? All I've wanted to do is talk and you just push me away."

"It's easier that way." You shrugged.

The doctor furrowed his brows, now he was utterly confused.

"Easier?"

You turned your head, (E/C) eyes boring into his brown ones.

"You travel time and space, there's bound to be someone who wants to use me to get to you. How can they use me when I don't even know you?"

"You... were doing this for me..?"

You smiled at him and his hearts melted at the sight, the first time you had ever smiled at him and he wanted to burn that image into his head.

Standing up, you started to leave but the doctor shot you and took your hand in his, spinning you around he stared at you intently.

"Why?"

"You're my soulmate." You laughed lightly, "I don't want you to get hurt."

"Then let me get to know you? Not knowing you is hurting me even more."

Searching his eyes, you hesitated a moment before nodding.

"Alright Doctor, But we take it slow, deal?"

The doctor grinned widely and nodded his head frantically.

"Yes! Deal!"

You smiled and laced your fingers with his, gently tugging his hand so he was walking along with you. The doctor wore the happiest smile of all time while you wore a smaller one
