ALRIGHT I KNOW I KNOW THE LAST 2 CHAPTERS WASN'T INTERESTING...
I PROOOOMISE I WILL MAKE IT UP TO YOU BY THIS CHAPTER... (see how intense my promise is because I used caps lock... you should be excited)~
Confusion.
It's a state of being bewildered or unclear in someone's mind about something, of what I have understood. And certainly, I could relate my understanding of it in my current situation.
I had a lot of questions running wildly in my thoughts. Although it's not what you call questions, it's what you call confusion without questions. I'm confused and surprised of how one of my closest cousin is somehow connected with also one of my closest companion. The cycle is like this: Dasha fell in love with my bestfriend's bestfriend and I fell in love with her boyfriend's bestfriend. I never thought destiny would just run around us, the world is really such a small place.
I stared blankly into the open space as I focused in my own world and thoughts. Though my focus was at my thoughts, I still had a share of my focus on eating my meal, since it was lunch time. I decided to snap out of my own fantasy for a while to take a glance of reality. I could see how busy Vars is with his project, which he had been working ever since last week, and also, Garren was enjoying his box of mini pizza, so they totally ignored me. Nicole's presence were absent, she already flew towards a certain country with her boyfriend just this morning.
"Vars," Garren called, breaking the silence between the three of us.
"Yep?" Vars responded, still continuing with his little work.
"Don't you have anything to tell her?" Garren said, tilting his head to point me out.
"Tell me what?" I asked.
Vars stopped focusing on his work, he looked at Garren and mouthed: "Tell her what?"
Garren sighed. "About this noon?"
Vars seemed confused, yet just a moment after, he remembered it and nodded to Garren. "Oh, right... I remembered."
"What is it?" I asked, curiosity grew bigger inside of me.
"Oh, uh... we're having a movie marathon at Garren's house, we're just asking if you wanted to come with us?"
"Why? is there something we should celebrate for?" I asked.
"Nope," Garren said. "Just a friendly bonding, is that bad?"
"No, not at all-"
"So are you coming?" Garren asked, with his mouth half full with chewed pizza.
"Yeah, of course."
"Great," Garren smirked. "I think we also have to discuss about personal things, too."
I smiled nervously, my heart was electrified. What personal things should we discuss?
We, then, made our way to our class as the school bell rang.
After like, a hundred milleniums of boredom, dismissal finally saved my soul.
Garren and I waited for Vars at the usual meeting place: school park. We talked about butterflies and girly stuff and how men stuff were a lot better than girls'. Well, it wasn't much of a talk, it was a friendly argument. After forever, Vars finally came running towards us.
"Why are you so late?" Garren asked.
"My teacher-" -breathes deeply- "called me and-" -breathes deeply- "one of my classmate-" -breathes for air "and acused us for cheating the-" -breathes deeply - "quiz."
