Guys, I'm sorry for the cliffhanger last chapter, Wanted to make this a bit interesting. :)

"Could I ask you something?" Vars shyly asked. He was more like a kid complemented by someone he doesn't know.
For the second time in this day, I was confused and don't know what's going on.
I tilted my head. "Sure, Vars. What is it?"
"I get this instinct that I should go and get to know you better. Don't know why, but I should."
I smiled as I heard those words. I'd like to get to know him better, too.
"Hmm, you should go and follow your instincts, Vars." I politely smiled.
There was a comforting silence between me and Vars. He crossed his legs and stroke off his quiff upwards. I glanced outside the window where the sun was striking hot and bright.
"So, uhm, I'd like to tell you about the task." Vars informed
Oh, I did remember about this job he had to do here.
I turned around from facing the window to meet Vars dark brown eyes.
"So, I've been seeing some homeless disabled people back in our little village, and I really pity them. I really do, it makes me feel bad and guilty that I have all enough things; shelter, food and money. While they're just outside, they're missing one part of their body, and also one part of their lives; happiness. Whenever I see them I just feel like I'm not worthy to have all these things. They're the ones who should be looked after; I'm the one who should be out there. Not them; especially not them." Vars' voice showed no hint of telling lies. It was the pure truth, and with pure care among them. It was his heart who were speaking.
"I couldn't let them live their lives out there in the cold, mean world. I couldn't let another day knowing I could do something for them. And what hurts me the most is hearing those little ignorant children outside calling names on them. People who should be called 'abnormal' are those people who doesn't treat someone with disability as one of the 'normal' kinds. That's what I call abnormal." Vars added. His little speech touched me, he does have a point. And it made me feel guilty as I realized every word he said.
"So, I'm counting on you." He said, a tone of hope echoed in his deep masculine voice. "Will you join me? I need some help. Garren had accepted my favor, will you?"
Hearing Garren's name alarmed me. Garren would NEVER join any programs unless it's not important to him. But it seemed Garren had a very caring heart for him to accept Vars' offer.
"Yes, of course, I'd love to!" I politely agreed to Vars. The Yorkers' man flashed a dimpled smile across his face.
It's not like I only agreed to Vars because he mentioned Garren, With or without Garren, I would still join Vars.
"Thank you, Rachael..." Vars said as he hugged me.
~At lunch~
Rachael, I want to have lunch with you.
Garren texted, I haven't seen him since morning.
How about your classmates? Where are they, then?
It's not like I don't want to eat lunch with Garren, though.
They're here, but I want to talk with you, pleeeeeease?
Garren pleaded.
Fine, where are you?
At your back...
