Typical day at school. Boring teachers, familiar faces, lockers and people.

Today, I randomly decided to speak to this certain guy in History class I've always been interested to get to know with.

It started with a game, Five Nights at Freddie's. He sat 2 seats away from mine and when people started to gather up and watch him play, I sat down beside him.

"Oh, Five Nights at Freddie's!" I happily said.

"Yeah," He smiled at me.

It was a bit awkward at first because talking to each other was not part of our daily routine. And it wasn't necessary, we speak when we want to.

I noticed by the corner of my eye that he was just excitedly playing the game and he was having fun. His smiles grew wider everytime there are jumpscares and the rest of them would shriek and jump. I find it kind of cute, to be honest, now my interest in making him my friend has risen.

When he stopped playing and everyone went back to their business, he smiled at me.

"Rachael, right?" He asked.

"Yeah,"

"I'm Ezreal." He offered a friendly hand shake which I took.

"I know," I half laughed.

"I know you do, I just thought I should introduce myself properly."

His manners and attitude so far sadly reminds me of someone. But his smile was different, it was a happy smile, and nothing was hidden deep beneath it. Not like someone's, makes you think something is actually burried below it.

"I've realized you knew Vars?" He asked.

"Yeah." I nodded. "What about it?"

"Nothing special, it just happens that he once was my classmate."

I smiled, though deep down I realized something strange and something wad awkwardly replaying. Garren knows Vars and so do Ezreal. The only different between them is that Ezreal is a simple, typical gentleman while Garren is a sweet friend.

"Is he still with his girlfriend? And his Cancer patient thingy?"

"To answer your first question, I think you should just go and ask him, and yes, he's still with the cancer thing."

He nodded as a response, and then he smiled, like he figured out something. He looked at my shirt and I noticed his eyebrow raising. "Nice shirt."

I wore a shirt with an Until Dawn print in it, to be honest, I really don't know what that is about so when he asked if I play Until Dawn I got frightened because I am interested in him and I don't want to disappoint him at our first real conversation.

"No," I breathed out. "To be honest I really have no idea what this is."

He nodded, "Ah, it's okay, I wasn't really a hundred percent sure you know about it." He said. "What kind of games do you play, then?"

"Well," I exhaled, searching something in my mind, "I don't really play games but maybe if I do, that would be brain busters."

He nodded. It is unbelievably a great feeling whenever he nods because it's a sign that he is listening and paying attention. You can tell from his eyes how they are focused at you and listens with caution and cooperation, you know? Some great listeners fail to respond and remains idle for the rest of the conversation and that just sucks and just a turn off for me.

But him? You could just tell him your deepest and most hidden secrets and opinions and you wouldn't even get judged for. It's as if even if the words he uses are offensive you wouldn't notice it right away because the way he delivers it is just gentle and friendly.
