"I find it annoying how easy you ask me out and always have the answer yes." I told Garren by the phone.
"That's not surprising, one does not simply say no to Garren Greyman."
"Then what if I say no?" I teased.
"No? Well I didn't say it's impossible to reject the beautiful and handsome Garren Greyman-" I laughed, "I just said it's not simple. So okay, I pity you for making a hard, life-changing decision to reject me."
"Okay, Mr. beautiful handsome Garren Greyman. I'll come fishing with you."
"Really? Thought you hate fish?"
"Then why'd you ask me out?"
"Just to test my luck, if it still works. I've been rejected by a lot of people lately."
"That's unfair, of course you had to call me out because I almost never say no to you."
"Aww," Garren mocked, "You'll have a kiss from me."
"Ew, no," I laughed. "When you coming over?"
"An hour later, I'm still taking a bath."
"Oh," I shrugged. "Okay, bye."
"Okay, dress good, okay?"
"Huh? Why-" The call was already ended. "Oh well." I walked back to the dark living room, lights were off since Nicole always liked that cinema-tic feel when she watch movies at home.
"Who was that?" Nicole asked while she munched the popcorn.
"Garren,"
"Wow, you guys hit off so fast, going out together like nothing happened."
"Past is past, Nics, plus he's fun to be with."
Nicole shrugged, not taking her eyes off the screen. "So are we coming along?"
I pursed my lips back in thought, "Erm, I don't know, apperantly he didn't mention anything about telling you guys about this."
Nicole scoffed, "Well, whatever, he must really be eager to have you all alone. Talk about overly attached boyfriends."
I shrugged. "Well, I missed him, so why not?"
"And oh fucking hell, when we hanged out together with Vars and that Ezreal boy, he was telling Ezreal that-" she cleared her throat, "Rachael is mine!" She said, immitating Garren's voice. "And it was so annoying!"
"He's just doing it for fun."
Nicole paused the movie, throwing me a serious look. "It doesn't seem like a joke to me, Rachael, I was there to witness, and the way he speaks and looks to Ezreal, there's threat and sincerity."
I shrugged, "Remember the last time you pushed me to believe those actions? Yeah, I fell badly for that."
Nicole sighed. "But what if it's true this time?-"
"I've had enough of what ifs, let's just wait, okay? There's nothing wrong with waiting, at least I'm not going to hang on to something that's not there. I've learned." I said, taking a fistful of popcorns from Nicole's bowl. "It's better to make sure than creating hypothesis."
"Okay fine, just want what's best for you."
I sat down beside her, throwing popcorns to my mouth. "What's the movie?"
"Piranhas, naked girls, porn addicts who's all going to meet the fangs of karma for being awfully perverts." Nicole said, playing the movie. "It's all nudes and gore, two things you hate."
