rin walked around the mansion, hoping none of his siblings find him. he was in a bad mood and didn't want to talk to anyone. he went to the backyard where the fountain was and sat there.

ever since him and nana started to attend tokyo academy, they don't go home that often. he sometimes misses the mansion and sometimes doesn't. rin sat down on the grass, staring up at the sky. he was still dressed in his formal clothing from the dinner. he didn't want to talk to his parents about that awful dinner they just had.

he twisted the rings that were around his finger and sighs. well, this isn't the first time him and his sister had to leave early.

"you're too easy to find."

rin let out a groan. "give me some alone time."

kuze laughs, taking a seat next to rin. "sorry, just worry about you."

rin laid down on the grass. "speak for yourself. you're not even out to the family and if i'm being honest, don't even come out."

his words were full of annoyance and anger. kuze chuckles, ruffling up rin's hair. "it's fine, i'll be fine."

"you always say that, kuze."

"because i am."

"liar."

kuze rolls his eyes and got up from the ground. he pat his behind so grass wasn't all over him. kuze offered his hand to rin, who took it. the two brother headed back in the mansion, not batting an eye at their parents.

rin walked up the flight of stairs to find his sister in his room. "kai, get out."

nana rolled on her back, head dangling off the edge of the bed and blonde hair falling. "let's have a sleepover in your room!"

"no," rin says, unbuttoning his dress shirt. he saw nana rolling her eyes in the reflection. "just go to your own room, we're going to back to school tomorrow anyway."

nana let out a childish whine, thus making rin roll his eyes. he saw his sister take a hit from her juul, smoke being blown everywhere in the room. he went over to her and snatched it away, taking a hit himself.

"why do you always have strawberry?"

nana shrugs, "don't know why you're complaining, you love strawberry flavored stuff."

"i guess." he threw the juul on his bed and plopped down. "are you actually gonna stay in my room for tonight?"

"can i?"

rin sighs, "go ahead, even if i say no, you wouldn't even listen."

nana let out a small 'yay' and laid down in a more comfortable position. it was pretty late but neither of them were tired enough to sleep.

rin played some music on his speaker while both scrolled through instagram and tiktok. from time to time, they would show each other funny videos they find.

around 1 a.m, there was a small knock on the door. rin shouted 'come in'. their dad walked in the room, a little surprise that nana was also there.

"oh, you're both in here."

"hai bisogno di qualcosa, papà?" rin asks.

"no, just checking up. how are you both feeling?"

"boredddd." nana whines.

"you're always bored, kai. what's new?"

"rude."

"anyways, i'm throwing a party soon, and is there anyone you guys want to invite?"

the twins stared at each other for a moment. "why a party all of a sudden?" rin asks.
