oikawa woke up to the bed empty. well, that didn't surprise him at all, considering he and rin just fought. he sat there, taking in the morning sun.

"are you a dog?"

oikawa opened his eyes, turning to the door. rin was standing there, hair all messy and in an oversized crew neck.

"a dog?"

rin rolls his eyes. "okay never mind." he walked over to oikawa and sat on the bed. "i want to apologize."

oikawa laughs, staring fondly at rin. "i'm surprised you're apologizing this soon. i thought your pride would make you wait at least two days."

"stop teasing me, oikawa."

"aww come on, ri-chan." he pouts. "don't be like that."

"don't call me that!"

"why? it's cute."

rin scoffs. "it does not suit me at all."

"so, you're not mad at me anymore?"

rin bit his lips. "i was never mad. just annoyed and frustrated."

"really?"

"yes, oikawa! amico, sei così pazza."

oikawa laughs, tucking his knees up to his chest. "care to translate?"

"no."

"you're such an ass."

"what's new?"

oikawa shrugs, laying back down on the bed. he started up at the ceiling, which was covered in glow-in-the-dark stars. rin put them up when they moved in.

"hey, rin?"

"what?"

"want to go shopping with me?"

"fuck no, go with iwaizumi."

"oh come on, don't be like that!" oikawa then sat up again. "think of it as an apology."

rin stood there, wanting to say something back but he really does feel bad at yelling at oikawa, so he gave him. "alright, i'll go with you, but the moment you make me hold any bags, i will leave you there."

"okay!"

oikawa got up from bed and hurried to the closet, picking an outfit for himself. rin just shrugged and also went to go pick something.

eventually, both picked flashy outfits. well, i guess with fashion freak mothers, it was expected from the two.

"don't you two look flashy." terushima comments. "going out?"

"yep, be back in a few hours." rin said, getting his car keys from the small bowl and taking his leave with oikawa right next to him.

when they got in the card, rin took out his wallet and handed oikawa his black card. "here, you get to use it for one thing today."

oikawa stared at the card and then back at his roommate. "you have a black card? since when?"

rin shrugs, "a few months ago, i don't really use it though. kai also has one and i'm pretty sure she spends it like crazy."

"do all the nanashima siblings have one?"

"no," rin shook his head. "my two older brothers don't but i'm sure it's because they don't go shit crazy when it comes with money."

"what kind of jobs do riku and kuze do?"

"riku coaches junior volleyball while kuze teaches violin and piano."
