kuroo sat on his bed, scrolling on his phone to find something entertaining to do. at the moment, it was only him and bokuto in the house while everyone else was out doing something.

since he was bored, kuroo went downstairs to go see if he can himself any food. realizing the fridge was practically empty, kuroo let out a small grunt. usually, nana or iwaizumi do the grocery shopping but both have been too busy. he decided to be an adult today and go out to get groceries.

grabbing his keys, kuroo then realized that he can't actually buy anything since his bike is too small. sighing, kuroo went upstairs to bokuto's room and knocked on the door.

"what, kuroo?"

kuroo held up his keys, "can you come with me to the grocery store? my bike can't really fit anything."

bokuto got out a grunt, "fine, give me a minute to get dress."

the two got into bokuto's car and stayed silent.

"text nana on what we need," bokuto told kuroo, starting the car.

"you text her,"

"why?"

"cause she likes you better,"

"kuroo, just fucking text her."

"fine."

the two stayed quiet for most of the car ride to the grocery market. japan was in its rainiest month, so traffic was quite bad.

"did she respond?"

kuroo stared down at his phone, "yeah, she did."

"what did she say?"

"just the basics."

"that doesn't really answer my question but close enough."

there was a small pause between the two. "do you think nana and rin are going to be okay?" kuroo asked.

bokuto shrugs. "they'll be fine, i'm sure the famous nanashima twins can work it out."

kuroo let out a snort, "it sounds like you're insulting them."

"i am," bokuto casually says. "if i'm being honest, rin and nana sets such high standards for other heirs, they annoy me."

"understandable, nana currently holds the highest net worth in the whole school."

"but after living with them for almost a whole month," he continues, "they're really just dumb teenagers. i always thought both were stuck up, but they're kinda normal."

"i guess,"

bokuto turned when the light turned green. "what about you? what do you think?"

kuroo leans his head against the window. "if you want my honest opinion, i never really cared about them. you and oikawa were the two i had the most problems with." he then eyed bokuto. "i still have a problem with you."

"seems like you're going to have to get used to that."

"sadly."

as they try to find a parking spot, kuroo told nana to hurry up and send him a list of shit they needed to buy. bokuto got a cart and they both roamed around the store. from time to time, bokuto would be an ass and ram the cart against kuroo's behind.

"can you be serious for once in your life?" kuroo scolds, throwing tofu and green onion in the cart.

bokuto stares down at the cart, examining what was in it. "i'm surprised that a little rich boy like you know what he's doing in a grocery market."
