"has anyone seen rin?"

they all looked up at kuroo, "why?" nana asked.

kuroo shrugs, "no reason."

"he's at the ice skating rink,"

"thanks, nana."

kuroo took his keys and decided to head out. he didn't feel like staying home, plus he had the urge to bother rin.

he doesn't know why either.

kuroo found out that the ice skating rink wasn't far from the campus. it was pretty close. only a 10 minute walk.

he got to the rink, cool air hitting him in the face. kuroo looked around. the place seemed empty at the moment, only a faint sound of music playing from the speakers.

"kuroo? why the hell are you here?"

rin was on the ice. his bangs were clipped up with a cute bow and was just in sweats and a hoodie.

kuroo shrugs, "wanted to bother you." he walked up to rin, now with the glass wall between them.

"i don't know, kuroo..." rin teases, "seems like you're now attached to me. what? one hookup and you're like this?"

"don't be full of yourself, nanashima." kuroo looks around. "only one here?"

rin nods his head, "mhm, the owner here is a close friend of my mom so i just ask a day before if i can practice."

"football, volleyball, basketball, ice skating, architecture, designing, and modeling..." kuroo mumbles, "aren't you a talented fucker."

"one of the pros of being raised in the nanashima household," rin then stared kuroo up and down, "well, since you're here, wanna join me? unless you don't know how to skate."

"i know how to skate, it's just in a different style."

"hockey?"

kuroo smiles, "aren't you a smart one."

"not really. you can get shoes over there."

kuroo gave rin a nod before going over to the back. he found skates that were his size and went over to the bench so he can tie the laces.

"rin, help me up," he whines, putting his arms in front of him.

rin rolled his eyes, grabbing onto kuroo's arm. "such a baby."

kuroo held onto rin's hand even after they got onto the ice. immediately, kuroo can notice how he and rin had different techniques in skating. rin let go of kuroo's hand and started to skate around as kuroo just stood there and watched him.

"how long have you been skating for?" kuroo asked when rin got back to him.

rin let out a small chuckle, "i started skating right when i knew how to walk."

"really?"

"yeah, my mom was a professional figure skater before becoming a fashion designer, so she got me, kai, and my older brothers on the ice at a young age."

"ice skating suits you, ever thought about going pro like your mom?"

"no," he shook his head, "i wouldn't have time for it."

"there's no rush in taking over your dad's company," kuroo tells him, skating closer to rin. "you want to go to college, right?"

he shrugs, "i do, but i don't know anymore."

kuroo grabbed his hand and started to lead him around the rink, "you're smart, rin. you're literally ranked number 2 in school, i bet you're getting scouted from multiple places."
