Lance's POV

In mere seconds everything was chaos.

The Clan Of Axes waere viciously and mercilessly tearing through the hords of knights and warriors. Ren jumped from shoulder to shoulder, slicing amd dicing his way through. V was more of a hit and run, using his claws to incapacitate the soilders. Me and Sage stood back to back, expertly stabbing and slicing, moving our way around eachother like an intricate dance, even though she was way more graceful then me.

I duck under a sword and Sage slashes the man who wielded it, over my head. I notice a person behind her amd, still crouched down, swing on my knees, slicing the person's legs. He collapses and Sage plunges her sword into his chest. She helps me up and we move so pur backs are touching yet again.

I block multiple rapid fire strikes before using a new technique Sage had taught me and spun my sword the next time I deflected, twisting the man's wrist and after a bit making him let go and drop it. I finish him off, huffing a tired breath. That was my first time doing that move so it worked. Nice.

I glance around me, taking note of what little fights I could see through the darkness. By the amount of bodies and blood, it looked like an all out war. Was this what Tempus wanted? Yes. Yes it was.

I see there people across the battle just...standing there. I have a hard time making out who they are, but then it was obvious after I saw the curly hair. Frieda. Her and her guards were just just standing by. The guards would only attack the knights that got a little to close to her, and they did it expertly. Why they didn't help in the fight? I'll never know.

Suddenly sharp pain erupted from my nose. I was thrown onto the ground, looking up I see a man clad in armor glowering down at me. He raises his sword. He plunges if downwards, and I roll out of the way just in time. J scramble to my feet as quickly as possible, keeping my eyes on the man. I dont even register the hot wet substance running down my face. The man swings his sword and I block it with my own. He swings again. And again. Over and over. I do nothing but block and take a step backwards, block and take a step. Eventually the man started breathing heavy and his swings falter. I took my chance.

I duck under his arm and grab hold of his wrist, turning it back behind his back, pinning it. He cries out in pain as I pull it tighter, making him drop his large sword. I then pull so tight I hear a sickening crack and push him to the ground. Seeing him there, writhing in pain I almost feel bad. So I stead of ending his life, i just drop the hilf of my sword on his temple, making him drop out cold in a second. I reach down and pick up my sword, dusting it off.

"You're Sage Emmerson?" An authoritative voice said behind me. I turn around, seeing a woman facing Sage not too far away. She had dark navy hair that was shaved on one side and fell to around her jaw on the other. She had dark grey eyes and must have been around 5'6, a few inches shorter than Sage. She had a slim face and sharp features, her body agile and lean. She wore a full set of armor and had sine sort of American accent. She couldnt have been older than 16.

"Depends, who's asking?" Sage retorted to the girl.

"Oh we're playing this game then? Well in that case I know exactly who you are and what your doing. I know everything about you from the date you said your first words to the thing you had for breakfast this morning. I know you better than you know yourself, so dont patronize me." She explains. Even though she was shorter than Sage, she still somehow looked as if she was looking down on her. Sage takes a tiny step back, her sword drawn.
