Pain.

That's all I felt.

A racking, throbbing pain starting in my skull and moving throughout my body. My eyes are closed, yet I can feel the heat of the sun through them. I feel sharp pricks of debris poking my skin. I could feel a warm, sticky substance rolling down my head and a some on my arm.

Blood.

Finally gathering the courage and strength, my eyes flutter open.

I squint at the sudden flood of light but open them fully after a moment. I groan and roll over, the pain in my body growing bigger. With a few deep breaths I sit myself up, and finally get a good look of my surroundings.

I'm in the same plane from before, that's for sure. But it's not flying anywhere, anytime soon. It sits at a tilted angle, half of the metal tube no where to be found. The seats are torn apart and scattered. Various broken objects lay on the slightly tilted floor. The oxygen masks hang loosely from the ceiling and papers flutter in the light wind coming from the open part of the wreckage.

After having some time to rest while looking around the place, I slowly, and with less pain, pull myself onto my feet.

Like I had before I check down every aisle. I was expecting to see bodies, maybe some survivors. But like whatever happened before, not a single soul was present.

After thoroughly checking the plane I turn to the open end of it. Walking towards it I squint slightly as I walk into the sun. Once my eyes adjust I am amazed by what I see.

I'm in a small clearing. Luscious, bright green grass grows on the ground, softer then any I've ever seen. A few wildflowers dot the area, making the place have a pleasant smell. A few butterflies and bees go from flower to flower, gathering the nectar inside. Not that far away a thick green forest lies. The trees are tall and impressive. Moss grows on the trunks and their roots pop out of the ground before burrowing deeper. Bushes and plant life flourish under the canopy of the trees. Making the ground just as impressive as the trees above. I hear the quiet gurgle of a stream not too far away and the chirping of the birds as they sing to each other.

It's just so...perfect. So untouched by man.

I decide to look around more. Looking behind the plane wreckage I see no sign of a crash landing no dirt pulled up from the impact of the plane, no trees down or dust in the air. It's almost as if the plane was wrecked before hand, and placed in the small clearing. I plop down in the soft grass to decide what to do next.

What happened to all the people on the plane? I think to myself.

Maybe they already left and thought I was dead. Or maybe...they are the ones that are dead...all those people...oh god the children... I feel tears pooling in my eyes at the thought.

And then, something struck me.

Wait...what about Lance? What happened to him?! He cant be...dead...he cant be. He just...he cant. At the thought of his possible and likely death, the tears spill over.

I try to hold it back but my sobs eventually break out.

They rack my body as I hunch over, tears spilling down my face.

They are all dead...Lance he's... he is probably dead too...I'm all alone...no food, no water, no shelter...oh god Liam! Am I ever gonna see him again? I left him all alone with dad...will I be able to keep my promise of two years? The sobs come harder at my thoughts. I just want to curl up and never get up up again.
