The Show Must Go On

"What do you want? ice cream? Tea? Coffee?"

I gazed at moonbin with my blank face. He's been doing this for days and I don't know what's with him? Is he still guilty about what happened that night? 

"why are you doing this?" I asked him while getting a spoon of ice cream. 

He just shrugged and continued eating his ice cream. I put the spoon back and glared at him. 

"okay fine."he sighed. 

I raised a brow at him, and cross my arms on my chest, waiting for his explanation. 

" I just want to see what you are doing. You're in the same building with your ex, and you're not over him. I'm just concern." he finally spoke. 

I looked away and swallowed a lump in my throat. 

"W-we're not always in the building since we're busy too. And I bet they're in a vacation so probably they're at home." I answered and he just nodded. "How are you and.." I smiled to tease but he just shook his head. 

"We decided to end it, we're falling out of love. We don't have time to see each other." he shared. 

"oh.." I muttered and eats my ice cream. 

"what if our bet when we're still kids come true?" he asked. 

My forehead creased because I didn't get what he's talking about. A bet? I don't remember anything. 

"The bet that I will marry you if we're old enough." he hinted. 

My brows furrowed. "I didn't agree to that bet. You told that to me." 

He rolled his eyes. "I mean it." 

I just smiled at him because it's not impossible. And we're just 24, it will be a long journey. 

After that short break, he dropped me in front of our building. As usual, I waited for his car to disappear from my sight before getting in. 

I smiled and bowed to the staffs, greeting me when I came in. I brought my phone out while waiting for the elevator to open. 

I felt presence beside but I didn't bother to look at them. I just continued chatting with my friends until I heard the elevator opened. 

I came in first and finally, my eyes flew to  them. Jungkook, V and jimin were walking inside the lift with their hands inside the pockets of their pants and sweaters. 

V smiled at me while jimin and jungkook remained with their poker face. Jimin is wearing his sunglasses to  cover up his eyes. Jungkook's wearing his famous bucket hat, his short button down shirt was open with a t-shirt inside and a loose pants.

Lastly, I scanned V. He's wearing a white t shirt with a brand written in it, 'Celine'. He's also wearing a straight khaki pants with a belt on it. 

"Hi.." V greeted me with a gentle voice. 

I smiled at him. An awkward one. 

"The company is planning a trip, right? Do you know that?" he asked again. 

I bit my lower lip while shaking my head. A company trip? For what? 

"it is like a team building." he answered the question inside my head. 

"All labels are included?" it my time to asked. 

He nodded. Why didn't I know about that?
