The bubble burst and he pulled out a poison coated needle previously stuck in his face, hissing in pain while the numbness began to set in, Good luck, but I think you'll do fine. She hummed and disappeared from his mind temporarily to let him focused on the fight ahead, it would be rough, but he'd survive. Why the hell am I giving out encouragement? That's definitely not like me. Himo thought to herself, knowing that this was a much more strange experience.

Maybe that internal bleeding was getting to her, I packed some extra vials of healing for myself when I left for Shoku, maybe I can take those once I'm done with communications, just hope I won't be dead before then that is...

The thought made her somewhat more upbeat about the upcoming fight she'd have to partake in, this whole communication thing was giving her a migraine, double vision set in and two scenes played out in front of her that were so close to being mixed together, Tokito rushing to the shack with his sword ready to fight, the other being Tanjiro hurriedly raising his sword to begin fighting the combined demons now in the same body.

She decided to keep up with Tokito for now as he started going for the demon hiding through pots, watching him fight made her more worried, if this was one of the demons...what would the rest be? And those five combined into one that Tanjiro and, if Genya was even alive, had to fight alone no less? It made her mouth...or spiritually, taste like old pennies.

Tentacles smashed through the roof of the shack like a weed growing through a garden and smashed through the walls like it was Wall Maria in AoT—Wrong book Mae!— wreaking havoc on the surrounding area, grabbing Tokito, though he seemed to be on death's door in his condition, poison through his system and almost drowned a few moments ago, while fighting no less, she sensed he wasn't in much danger, still close to death at the moment, but the death level had strangely not increased.

Fuck him and his tentacles and pots, agreed? She hummed in his mind again, sounding quite annoyed at the fact this demon was harming anyone. Sure, though Himo knew some demons who were nice such as Yushiro, Nezuko, and Tamayo, this demon was certainly hell-bent on killing all three people in the area.

Agreed.

The demon hissed at their communication as Tokito managed to slice through all the tentacles with what looked to be relative ease even with poison coursing through his system. You could feed the entire town with sushi made out of this. She mused in his mind, the slippery joints fell to the ground and flopped like it was a fish out of water with as much style as you could imagine, as in none, her communications were slowly deteriorating as he slipped farther and farther away from death.

As his power increases, the demon's attack is wearing it out. Himo thought brokenly, a pale shadow of herself flickered underneath the tree, either she was getting too close to death or he was closer than she was. Or perhaps there was a third category involved, since Himo sensed her body was still in operating conditions albeit not optimal condition with all her injuries but was in fact healing quicker than any human should, and Tokito was straying further from death every moment. So there must've been a third category...one that was killable...and one facing off a hashira.

You've truly chosen the wrong person to fight haven't you...Truly, you've made a mistake. Himo hummed into the demon's mind angrily, it was like a swarm of agitated bees were speaking in its head, the sound was unsettling to hear out of nowhere, and especially knowing that the person who was speaking was heavily involved in death itself. Shut up! Why're you in my brain?! It hissed angrily back at her and clawed at its head furiously to try and get rid of the disembodied voice telling him off. It laughed as his useless attempt and mentally sent of a message of her shrugging.

What're you doing with the demon? [Tokito]

Just messin' with 'em.

You're very strange...

Is that not what I'm here for?

She connected back into the demon's mind to interface with.

My power merely connects with someone about to die. And you? You're the one about to die, so tick tock, your time is on the clock. Her pale figure darkened into pure black with blue eyes and an unsettling smile, she looked down in slight surprise, "Wow...you're 100% going to die right now." And grinned at her almost solid form, with that, the humanoid collapsed into ash and gave way to Tokito, who used Haze, and covered the entire forest in mist, the mist clung to the floor, trees and hung in the air to obscure wherever he could've been now. Tokito leapt out from the trees where he promptly lopped the demon's head off it's shoulders and it rolled on the forest floor in shock at the sudden defeat. One moment he was almost dead, the next he'd managed to kill it with speed and precision.

You did good. You'll be okay, I'm gonna get back to Tanjiro, they're fighting a second demon dipshit, I hope you don't end up dead. Himo finally flickered into existence for a moment, standing regally like a queen, yet with a look of guilt like she'd just sent someone to be executed on account of her decision. Her sword hung at her side like a medallion of a curse, the mist parted around her like it sensed the sword. Himo tried to let the mist come closer, holding out a hand but as soon as it came in contact with her skin, it moved away.

"I'm sure your brother would be proud as well." She let a dragonfly flutter and land on her hand, they didn't seem scared of her form like the mist was as it edged away from her, "How'd you know about him?" Tokito asked defensively, his mental shields  going up, "Just a feeling. I'd like to add, he is proud of you, I can tell, Oyataka-sama's also proud of you a lot. So do well in your other fights." She locked eyes with him and felt his mental defenses relaxing.

She grinned and held out a vial, "Find me once you're done, I've got an antidote for that poison of yours." Her form shimmered like someone had dropped a stone into a puddle of water, "And by the way, don't be so harsh on yourself, everyone's still alive so far, no one except only one or two of the civilians in the village have been killed, Kanroji-san has saved them...yes, and for now the rest of us are alive. Get going." She waved, and collapsed into dust that withered away.

I don't know whether I should be scared that she can sense the dead and track them, or the fact she can communicate using that line...
