"Those bugs are an eyesore. What was that sound, what're they doing?" Daki mumbled to herself nonsensically, not even paying attention to the people who could kill her standing literally right there. "Where....Ogimoto House, huh. And now Hinatsuru...How many of you came here? Five?" She questioned them, Tanjiro and Himo exchanged glances, "Not telling."

"If you two tell me the truth, I could let you live." She offered in response to their secrecy, the both of them knew that five of them came, but they weren't about to tell a demon critical information or hand over any info that they wanted no matter how useless or useful, stupid or required. "We clashed a little just now and your blade, is already chipped. Whoever forged that thing must be a pretty crappy blacksmith." Daki pointed out at Tanjiro's nichiren sword in a bored tone, but raised and eyebrow at Himo's sword, which didn't have any chips at all so far.

You see, her sword was much harder to damage compared to regular swords, that's what put apart hers from other people. The metal she chose was the one for people with lots of ambition, those who would set out to rise the ranks as fast as possible while keeping up the quality, so when she chose that one, it was made to be the most durable metal known to make nichiren swords and hers was changing without her even knowing, if was resistant to demons but to wear and tear regularly it yielded.

"No! The one who forged this place is an amazing person!! He's a super skilled blacksmith!" Tanjiro argued despite almost being shanked by the swordsmith a few days prior. "I'm telling Haganezuka that the next time we see him..." Himo muttered to him jokingly and turned serious once she looked back at Daki, who was a little surprised to hear and see them making jokes even in situations where dying was part of the side effects. "Then why is it chipped, dumbass?" She asked pointedly.

"You're beginning to quiver all over the place, you're getting on my nerves now, so I'll kill you with the next blow." Daki threatened, veins snaked her face starting from her forehead, Himo raised her sword and took a defensive stance, Tanjiro raised his and they both attacked, she used Shadow Streak and cut around her for any of the remaining sashes flying her way. Himo breathed deeply and suddenly disappeared within a blink of an eye, she had used Shadow Streak to make an entire sphere around her with a deadly black glow, it was the quickest possible move she could pull off, they both tried tag teaming her, both trying at the same time in hopes she wouldn't be able to defend herself from the both of them.

To their surprise, Daki merely turned her head to look at them and muttered in a more annoyed than distressed manner. "Ugh...So slow. You're making me yawn here." And slapped them aside with a sash, though since Himo was still using that spherical movement, she began cutting through her sashes like a drill going through wood, her eyes widened but managed slapped the girl aside by using an excessive amount of sashes to her annoyance.

The movent still saved her when she landed, it stopped her fall quite well and sustained no injuries other than being tired. Tanjiro on the other hand had gone skidding down the pathway, as Daki moved in to kill him, Himo pushed him aside, he skidded out of the blast zone as he was using Recovery Breath and she used Bone Fence to save herself from being killed by the assault of sashes. "You're quite annoying, aren't you, you're even making me use more power than I have on any of the other slayers. Tch, I think I'll put you away for a while so you aren't that big a nuisance to me." Daki pressured the defense so badly that it exploded, causing Himo to be sent flying into a wall and she lay there, not moving. Even if it was her victory, she was breathing hard, it seemed that breaking the defense by exploding it was quite the challenge even for an Upper Moon.

Tanjiro shouted in outrage and began attacking, using the Dance of the Fire God was easier said than done indefinitely, it gave him an abnormally long lasting fever and was taking a toll on his body as well. Even with this technique, Daki still repelled him and even began to have fun with this, he was persistent so this was mere play to her now that she was beginning to use more power.
