Omniscient POV

"It's so hot." Jalanee said removing her hoodie. She looked at her phone at it read 8:27 pm. Kentrell was suppose to pick her up from the airport but he hasn't texted or called her since he hung up on her. Little did he know,Jalanee was already planning on moving in already. She was upset that he would do this to her,and was already frustrated with trying to catch a uber to his new place.

She dialed his number for the 7th time this evening, and it rung twice before going to voicemail. She decided to call her sister, knowing she'll answer at any time of the day.

"Hello?" Kayla said answering the phone.

"Yeah Hello? Where's Kentrell?" She said with quickness.

"I don't know,we not at his shit. We about to take the kids out to eat. Why?" Kayla asked.

"Nothing never-mind." Jalanee said hanging up before Kayla could speak. She went into the Uber app, looking if there was any rides available, then someone tapped her making her jump out of her skin, dropping her phone.

"Sorry about that." A deep voice said, picking up her phone. She turned around and furrowed her eyebrows.

"Thanks." She said taking her phone out of his hands. He continued to stare at her,and she started to get uncomfortable and gripped the handle of her bag.

"Wait. I wanted to know if you needed a ride? I seen you been here for a while,I was on the same flight as you." He said, putting his hand on her shoulder. Jalanee looked at his hand, and back at him, making him take his hand of her.

"Sorry." He said quickly before looking at his feet.

"Um I'm good." Jalanee quickly said before opening back up her phone, hoping a call back from Kentrell, but there was nothing. She wasn't about to get a ride from a stranger,so she was out of options.

"Are you sure?" He said looking at her up and down.

"I'm positive. Thanks though." She said fake smiling at him. He stood behind her, looking over her shoulder.

"I could help find you a cab." He said pulling out his phones. "Um Thanks." She said unsurely, she couldn't decline his offer of helping her find a cab, because she honestly needed the help, even though he was already giving her a weird vibe.

She backed a bit, making sure there was an appropriate space between the two. She was getting frustrated with the Uber app,and just thought about how bad she was going to ignore Kentrell when she seen him.

"No luck?" The man said to her. She shook her head, and looked over at his phone and seen that he couldn't find a ride either.

"You sure you don't want a ride? It's really not out of my way." He said, and Jalanee locked her phone, looking at him, thinking about what to say. She really needed to get a ride, and she knew Kentrell was so stubborn, and he wasn't going to come. "Okay. Fine." She said looking at him. He nodded, and picked her bags that were at his side.

"Let's go." He said looking at her,She hesitantly followed behind him as he led the way out of the airport. He led her to a red car,and he placed her bags in the back of the car, before opening the passenger door for her.

"Thank you." She said lowly. She shared her location with her sister, just incase and leaned her head against the door.

"This is your first time in Atl?" The man asked her.

"Um yeah. I'm guessing you stay here." She said. He looked at her and gave her a smile. "Yeah I been here for all my life. My names Bryson. Sorry I didn't introduce myself properly." He said to her, looking back at the road.
