I was watching the twins move around in my stomach in silence. This was always scary to me,but I grew to just love to sit there and stare at my belly. I had on nothing but a sports bra and spandex shorts sitting on my bed.
Kentrell was somewhere around the house with the boys. As for me I honestly wanted to be alone for the moment. Today marked 7 years since my bestfriends death,Kai's sister. I always felt sick to my stomach around this time each year.
We were so young when the whole situation happened,but she had a huge impact on my life. It's crazy because I feel like if she was still here my whole life would've been so different.
I would've never ran off to New york because I most likely would've still been with Kai. I hated the person Kai had became because his sister was the sweetest person ever and he was always happy when she was alive. My life was prefect back then.
I still wish we just didn't go out to that party that night. It's crazy because someone can mean so much to you,but once their gone all you have is memories to hold on to.
"I miss you everyday. I wish you were here to see me." I said smiling at the photo album. A tear drop fell into the photo,I didn't even realize I was crying. Knowing her,she would've been so excited with me having twins and she probably would've been so tired but still put up with my relationship drama. I missed her.
"Say' Lanee." Kentrell came into the room,with Tay on his side.
"Hm?" I said quickly wiping a tear from my face . He squinted at me and looked around the room.
"Watchu doing in here all by yourself?" He said placing Tay's sleeping body on the bed next to me. I slowly closed the photo album and slid it under her pillow as he pulled the covers over Taylin.
"Nothing much." I said forcing a smile. The room went silent as Kentrell slipped himself between my legs and laid on me.
"Tay bad ass done had me chasing him all day." He said resting his eyes. I laughed lightly and he opened his eyes and looked at me. He stared for a while like he was studying me.
"You been crying?" He asked me. I looked at him for a bit, deciding whether to lie or tell the truth.
Kayla bursted through the doors before I could speak. "Jalanee,Jayda here."
"Why the fuck you gotta come in here and announce that shit?" Kentrell said mugging her.
"She crying. She done locked herself up in the closet." Kayla said,making me sit up.
"What?" I said confused. Kentrell got off of me,and gripped my thigh. "I ain't done talking to you. We gon talk later." He said sternly giving me a look. He stood up,letting me walk out of the room.
I quickly walked to the back of the house and seen Jayda crying,with her head on her hands.
"Jayda? What's going on?" I said walking to hee.
She started to shake her head while keeping her head down. I struggled to get to the floor because of my belly,She was sniffling. This was still odd to me because Jayda once again,is always the happy one and she honestly sticks to herself. I'm guessing this is Ben drama.
"You have to talk to me babe." I said rubbing my hand up and down her back.
"He found out about the abortion." She said quickly in one breath.
My jaw dropped and I quickly covered it with my hand.
"Jayda!" I said looking at her. I wasn't really that shocked. I learned my lesson,no secret around here ever stays a secret.
"How?" I asked breaking the silence.
"He found the follow up appointment letter in my room." Her voice cracked.
"Jayda I just knew this was going to happen." I said.
"I know i'm sorry." Sbe said wiping a tear.
"And I'm guessing he reacted bad?" I said.
"That man was going to put his hands on me if I didn't run out the house that fast." She said.
"You ran? It was that bad?" I said kind of shocked.
"I got chased basically." She said between sniffles.
"So what makes you think he's not on his way here?" I said. Knowing how crazy Ben is,I already knew he was coming here.
"I literally had no where else to go. You're the only one who knows." She whispered. I scooted closer to her. "Well stop crying. This will be all over before you know it. Take getting cussed out,just like how I did."
Before Jayda could respond there was a knock on the door making us both jump.
