Chapter 41

Author's POV

Yoona helped the bleeding men , treating their wounds and bandaging them while Jungkook stared at Jin and Joon, his eyes filled with worries and guilt. Namjoon sighed noticing the younger's pained expression. " It's not your fault ...Damien."

" How come it's not my fault....I was thyr one who insisted to leave our homeland and travel to this kingdom full of danger. And now see what happened to Jin hyung.....he's still unconscious. " Jungkook covered his face , mumbling something under his breath.

" Damien?" Yoona's gentle voice made him look up with a curious stare. " It's not your fault , looks like your hyung was too exhausted and those wounds aren't that deep. He needs proper rest and treatment. His heartbeat is quite normal. I don't think there's any risk. So don't blame yourself. He's fine. Now? Shall we have the dinner , your hyung must be hungry." Yoona smiled looking at Namjoon , who lowered his head , blushing from embarrassment as his stomach growled.

" We were having rice and wild boar for dinner , is it okay for you.....??"

" Nathan. Just call me Nathan. And thanks for your help , thanks for taking care of my brother and... boyfriend." Joon glanced at Jin and then at Jungkook who shrugged with an evil smirk.

Yoona served them dinner and sat infront of them. " So where y'all will go after your uhhh boyfriend wakes up?" Yoona had no knowledge about homosexuality , but she knew being curious and asking them about it , prying in their love life will only make the couple uncomfortable.

" Ummm" Joon looked at the food before looking at Yoona. " Oh....well we were planning to head out to the kingdom and look for jobs but maybe we can stay here with you till we get some job and my boyfriend gets well? I mean if you'll let us , no force. We won't be staying here for free , we'll work and earn money ......right Damien!?"

" Oh? Umm yes noona..... please let us stay till we get another place to stay , if you want. I was wanna go to the Kingdom......" Jungkook bit his lips , thinking about the blue maiden. " Umm Yoona-ssi? What do you think about blue eyed maiden? Is she a myth , a folklore or.....she's real?"

" Ohh blue eyed maiden. I have heard a lot of stories about her while living in Sercaria.....people said she'll change our lives , she's the key to the city of Elaria , to which country she'll belong , the country will shimmer and will overflow with happiness, peace and wealth. I heard the people say she's really pretty and powerful." Jungkook just stared at Yoona , listening to her each and every word carefully. " Recently rumours said that there's really a blue eyed maiden and the King wants to marry her but I wonder if it's really true or--"

" WAIT WHAT??? THERE'S REALLY A BLUE EYED MAIDEN? Hyunggggg see I told you. I told you that it's not just a myth , ahhh noona where I'll be able to meet her?" Jungkook got all excited just from knowing that his true love wasn't a myth but someone made up of bone and flesh.

" She was confined in Han palace but I don't really know , when I went to buy some rice yesterday......I saw Han palace guards looking for her. Seems like...." She paused with a soft smile , " She ran away."

Ara's POV

It was already dark outside. I wonder what's happening in the Han palace. What if they come to take me away again? If they'll catch me this time , there's no doubt they'll lock me. If I'll get locked I won't be able to meet the guide sent by god. Is Sogum okay ? Does Taehyung know that I ran away? How he reacted .....I...this is so frustrating.

I rolled on the bed and hugged the pillow , snuggling into it. " Ahhhh can't I just do my job and go back to my own life? But....." I groaned before looking out of the window , the moon looked so pretty , I wonder is Jungkook looking at the same moon? Is he missing me? Is he.....waiting for me?

Are you waiting for me too.....Kim Taehyung?

I slapped myself , " No....you can't think about him , you have to forget about him , you can't think about....him....Kim Taehyung....you jerk-" before I could think about something else , I doze off.

Seonghwa's POV

Wow.......she really ran away huh?

I never thought dwaeji will have guts to do so. Well does she even remember me? Does she even know who am I ? I look really different right now .....so is she. She's a princess in both of her life. And I was just a mere soldier and now I don't know what I'm doing here. Looks like I can go back only when Ara will go back. For that I have to meet her and talk about it. But ugh. She's a prin---

I jolt up as I heard someone knock on the door. " What is it?" I asked making Hongjoong peek in my room. " Hyung you know what is happening? The girl......I mean Han princess..." He panted and walked in after closing the door. " She .....she ran away-"

I had no idea what Ara was planning , I had no idea why she ran away but one thing that I knew was , I was happy. " Oh....thanks for letting me know. " I smiled and patted his head. After a lil chit chat , Hongjoong went back to sleep. I leaned against the wall and looked out of the window. The moon looked really beautiful just like Ara. But now my first priority was to find her and leave this place as soon as possible.

" Now I can't wait to meet you , Ara."

Taehyung's POV

I was in my room reading some poetry when I heard someone knock on the door. " Who's it?"

" My Queen wants to see you , your highness." A female voice spoke making me sigh and fold the scrolls placing them away.

" Send her in and leave us alone."

The Queen walked in as the door opened , elegantly stepping inside my room , towards me. " My lord.....you won't believe what happened~" she faked a pained sigh and stood beside me , " My lord.......that woman.....she doesn't deserve your love and attention , your highness. She....she's really neglecting your efforts , do you still think she deserves you?"

" What are you blabbering about. I told you clearly last time. If you'll continue talking about Han Kyung and try to defame her....I'll order the guards to drag you away and lock you in the southern part of the palace." I glared at her , turning my back to her as I walked towards the balcony , eyeing the beautiful moon, glowing up in the sky. " So stop it."

" B-but my lord.....the thing I was try to say is....." She smirked and back hugged me , making me a bit uncomfortable at her touch. " Your beloved blue eyed maiden....." She giggled softly before standing infront of me and cupping my face.

" She ran away."
