The evening was calm and cold. Winter is nearing. Namjoon sat on the old bench in the backyard garden of the packhouse. He's not tired. While everyone was puzzled by his brother's answer, Namjoon wasn't really surprised. What should he expect from his brother?
He remembered how the three-year-old always steals the limelight. How much his alpha parents tried to control him, still his brother wasn't ready to bow down. Taehyung always gets what he wanted, everything fresh, no leftovers. While others demand something, Kim Taehyung used to earn them.
'Head up' was his life motto.
Even the three-year-old Taetae never submitted to anyone, how can he expect the 23-year-old Kim Taehyung to be like an ordinary omega? Impossible. Namjoon knows, no matter what, his brother will earn what he wants in his way, keeping his head up. Not because he's a spoiled brat but because he's a born prince.
The evening breeze ruffled his hair lightly. Namjoon was contented and happy. He has his brother now; his Taehyungiee. He felt a light tap on his shoulder and found his mate's fond eyes on him. Namjoon held his hand and made him sit on the bench. Jin smiled at his mate's little but cute gesture.
"I know you both suffered a lot already. So leave that chapter behind. Now he's here- in front of you, close to you. Be happy Joonie. We'll protect him."- Jin said squeezing his Alpha's hand. Namjoon nodded.
"Yes. We'll protect him"- he said.

Dark falling slowly at the pack. Pups stopped playing and went to their home. The garden was empty. The night started to become colder. Taehyung walked through the hallway.
'God, it's been a long day'.
He's tired. His whole body hurts. Hoseok told him to rest well. The guards are looking at him. Since he's new and a male omega, he will get these looks. Taehyung stopped at a huge wooden door with beautiful carvings on it. If he was following the right way, then this is the room Jin said.
He opened the door with a throbbing heart. The view in front of him was mesmerizing. White curtains, a big bed in the center, a separate and wide wardrobe section, wow!
There stood a male near the window. The moment he met with the man's eyes, his breath hitched. The same lavender and musk scent hit him hard. The tall raven-haired male turned to him.
There was only one thing going on in Taehyung's head- submit.
He cant believe himself. His wolf was howling in pleasure. His mate mark was throbbing. His eyes can't register the jubilant sight in front of him. His mate. His mate is tall, muscular, black hair messily spread on his forehead. His mate is deadly handsome.
Taehyung gulped harshly. The moment he met with the black wolf, he knew this is going to happen. But now when his eyes were finally blessed with the sight, it was beyond his imagination.
But something is wrong.
Yes, the eyes.
Why is it red? A fuming blood-red??
Taehyung couldn't understand what's happening when his mate walked towards him and pinned him against the closed door. His heart was about to come out of his rib cage. For the first time in his life, his wolf is screaming to submit to his alpha.
"Why do I smell other wolves on you?"-
The words come out from his mate's mouth like a Whisper but powerful. Taehyung felt the need to stand on his knees and whimper. It was the first thing his mate said- voice deep like octaves lower, dominating; yet he --loved it? Maybe it's a mate thing.
The red eyes digging holes in his body.
"I was-- with t-the pack m-members. N-namjoon Hyung, Jin Hyung, and Jiminie...and..."-
he couldn't complete the sentence and he felt the shadow of his mate is not hovering over him anymore. Taehyung looked up to find the alpha away from him, not looking and his eyes are now chocolate brown?
He was confused. What just happened now? Before he could say anything, the alpha turned to look at him.
"I - I didn't mean to do that. Like this - and - marking you. Haah... It's -- it's just complicated".
Taehyung was silent. What should he say? He stood there like a lost kid.
Oh, how happy he was with his hyungs and Jimin. His whole happiness is just scattered into pieces. When he felt a strong gaze on him, he said in a low voice.
" It's okay, I guess...".
And that was a lie.
He found his mate nodding.
" Uh... Jin Hyung told me that I can---"- Taehyung's voice trailed off as he looked at the bed. And his alpha got what he meant.
"Oh, you can sleep here. I will sleep on the couch"- the alpha said walking towards the bed to take one pillow.
Don't know why, Taehyung felt a pang in his chest. The scent of his mate is already driving him crazy. He wants to jump into his mate's arms. But he can't. He will not.
Stop him- he heard his wolf saying in his head.
No, why would I?- Tae
He's our mate -V
so?- Tae
You want him to sleep on the couch uncomfortably? -V
No... I mean, yes.
We both know you don't want that- V
oh, shut up, you stupid Wolfie. Let him sleep wherever he wants. Why do you care?- Tae
Because he is my mate and I miss him. -V Quit it, V.
We just met him like now. And he's here. Not going anywhere. -Tae
I don't know how you became my human, heartless. -V
And I don't know how you became my wolf, horny - Tae
Don't talk to me, then.- V
Gladly- Tae.
And thus he felt his Wolfie gone. The alpha was already lying on the couch, eyes closed. He snuggled closer to the blanket.
Whether it's simple or complicated, you should make your moves a little wiser from now on, alpha. Else it will be too late, for both of us. He thought.
The exhausting day and long night made him drifted to dreamland way sooner.
