31. In to your arms

Having someone next to you when you're broken is a blessing. Having someone who can understand your small silence is an amazing thing. Having a shoulder to lean on when you're tired is too an incredible feeling.

Jungkook has lost his parents at a very young age. He lost every comforting warmth for a very long time. Since it's a childhood thing, Jungkook never needed someone in his adulthood. But that doesn't mean he is too strong to handle everything.

Sure, he's true blood and all. But there's a kid inside him which craves the warmth of care, who wants to be hugged by someone, who wants to cry when things are not fine. Jungkook never let his inner child grow up.

But that is not what he missed the most.
That's not what he wanted the most in all this time.

The head alpha woke up when the cold air touched his feet as his blanket moved a little. He was lazy to open his eyes. But then it hit him.

Something wrapped around him or like someone's hand. He was laying on something soft almost like a pillow. His breathing is calm. His one hand wrapped around a thin body and the other is close to his chest. Legs entangled, ears perked up while hearing a melodic heartbeat.

Jungkook was feeling contented in the arms of someone. It's his first time someone wrapping him close to their heart letting him hearing their heartbeat. The soft whisper-like breathing touches his hair. Now Jungkook realized, where he is.

Safe place.

He was in his safe place. In the arms of his favorite person, feeling the warmth and calming scent. He is in the embrace of Kim Taehyung.

Extreme of euphoria.

That's what the true blood felt at that very moment when the realization hit him. He was being hugged by his mate. Jungkook felt safe in Taehyung's slender arms wrapped around his strong body.

Finally, he has someone who can lull him to sleep when tired. Kim Taehyung's heartbeat became his favorite symphony.

Jungkook slightly tried to look up at the male. Usually, it was Taehyung who woke up first. But today, Jungkook felt grateful for waking up faster than Taehyung. Else how would he bless with this surreal sight?

The long eyes closed beautiful eyelashes. Soft hair was messy, lips curved into an adorable baby pout. Jungkook traced the flawless face of his mate. He's lucky that he can wake up to the sight which is indeed the definition of perfection.

He touched the soft lips with his thumb. Wild thoughts running through his mind. But he pushed them off. But how can he leave like that?

Jungkook slowly adjusted his face and moved closer. He can feel Taehyung's hot breath. But his world stopped when his lips touched Taehyung's nose, kissing the cute freckle on it.

Jungkook looked at his mate one last time and blushed at his doing. He released himself carefully to not woke up Taehyung. The alpha took one pillow and placed it in between Taehyung's arms so that he couldn't miss Jungkook's warmth and woke up.

The true blood walked to the bathroom in silence. A beautiful smile carved in his lips for the whole time. Getting kissed by someone when you're sleeping is great, but kissing them the same way they do to you felt ecstatic for him.

It's always Taehyung who kisses on his eyelashes. But when he did, when he kissed on Taehyung's nose, his heart was dancing with happiness.

It's a happy morning for them. Jungkook got ready for the day and left the room.
