There's a reason why everything happens. There's a reason why Jeon Jungkook loves daffodils; especially blue daffodils. The flower represents rebirth- a new beginning. It indicates the winter is over. And now that he entered his room that's what welcoming him.
Rain and daffodils.
His mate's scent.
JK looked at the omega sitting on the bed. He was shirtless. His smooth fragile body was covered with white blankets. He was calling for his alpha. Taehyung's eyes were closed, hair disheveled and lips parted. He was wrecked without even touching.
JK licked his lips unconsciously. He walked towards the male. Now Taehyung knows his waiting and pain are gonna end. The lavender and musk hit his nerves. With hungry eyes, the omega called out.
"JK...Oh, my alpha...y-you're finally here... It- it hurts-aah..."
The purple gazes burning the alpha's body. JK controlled himself as he heard the omega's smooth and seductive voice. He glanced at the naked torso of his mate. Flawless and perfect.
The true blood sat on the bed and cupped his mate's face. Taehyung leaned into the little touch.
"Pup..."
The alpha heard the omega humming. He knows what the omega wants. He knows the deep desires of his mate right now. The alpha unbuttoned his shirt and took it off.
The long fingers of his mate run through the alpha's well build body. Stars exploding when the omega's hand traces the tattoos and JK gasped. The omega looked at him with hopeful eyes.
Making Taehyung looking into his eyes, the alpha made his mate wear his shirt. The alpha's scent on the shirt will help the omega calm a little. The big shirt on Taehyung looked adorable and something more.
"Alpha... I want you...please... Make this pain go away..." Taehyung said eyes straight looking into the red ones, fingers tracing the alpha's face to the jawline.
God, JK never had this much patience. His extreme was breaking. The omega is not easy to handle. He isn't even thinking to take off the blanket. JK can't let the hungry alpha side devour the omega now. That's not what important now. Their life is already falling apart. If he did this, it will break down into pieces and no one can join them. He can't let that happen.
Jk knows the omega is in heat and that's why he becoming this much needy and whatsoever. Taehyung will hate him if he took the advantage of his omega's heat cravings.
"Pup... No... We can't do this..."
The alpha struggled with words. But everything lost when the omega's lips touched his neck then shoulder blades to his heart. The alpha wanted to stop the male. Regardless of the omega doing, he wanted to taste his mate too.
"Pup"
"Yes, alpha"
Taehyung replied while kissing the red-eyed male's jawline. His lips lingered on the other for a moment. The alpha gulped. What Taehyung was doing now is addicting and toxic. The alpha was failing to control himself.
JK took a deep breath and made Taehyung lay down in the bed. He then lied next to his mate. Wrapping his strong hands around the omega and kissing his forehead, JK let his fingers run through the soft hair of his mate.
"Pup...
This is not the right time. You're not ready for this. Trust me..."
The alpha's voice was like a whisper. He continued running his fingers and showing his affection to the craving mate.
"You don't like me? Am I ugly that you don't like me?"
Taehyung asked with a baby pout.
"No...no pup...you're ethereal. You're the most beautiful person in the universe. It's ...we can't do this... It will harm our relationship. We can't do this to us."
The next moment alpha felt Taehyung moving impossibly closer to him. The baby pout was adorable. Did Taehyung agree to him that fastly? Isn't the omega going through tough heat? But guess what, the alpha's words calming him, his scent and presence make his mate feeling less hurt and pain. JK survived this time. Soft snores left from the omega and the alpha sighed in relief.
"I can't let Jungkookie down like all the time. I can't let our Jungkookie sad. I can't make him go through difficulties because of me, because of what I did. He took all the blame for me already. This isn't fair anymore. Please... Forgive me pup... Please..."
The true blood's eyes filled with tears and he softly patted the omega's back. This is Taehyung's first heat after meeting his mate. JK was thankful even he can't please the omega at least he doesn't end up hurting the mate. He felt grateful that Jungkook controlled him today. He felt grateful for the words his Jungkookie said.
Heats will come again. That's not what matters. First, they have to start from the bottom. The torn bond should rebuild stronger. They should talk about the cracks of their relationship. The distance should be erased first. Having each other by words is not enough. Let them sort it out. They have to know each other before anything else. They're close but far. That should repair first.
The two mates slept peacefully in the arms of each other. Dusk falling into the whole pack and now they have to wait for a day spring.
