22. Right and Wrong

The morning wasn't that chaotic. Because of the late-night celebration, the pack is tired and sleeping. It's their second day of the annual event and the head alpha is already busy with the preparation of visiting the pack with other alphas.

Jungkook stared at the paper in front of him. He loved early mornings, black coffee, and the temporary silence of the pack. It's the perfect timing for the young true blood to work. But not today.

Jungkook can feel the fast thumping of his heart. Jk was silent.

Sunlight isn't spread yet. The cool breeze touched his face like a certain one's hot breath. The male closed his eyes like someone kissing on his eyelashes.

The sound of leaves touching was like someone's whisper against his lips. And that certain someone doesn't even know the effect of these little things on the alpha.

Jungkook got up from the seat and closed his office. He decided to walk a little in the pack ground.

Crystal moon is way too mesmerizing at first sight. But it's deeper and mysterious inside just like the lives in there. Anyone who enters the pack can feel one thing- home.

And that's because the young head alpha spends sleepless nights after taking over his father. He and his men she'd blood, sweat, and tears for the pack.

Jungkook took a deep breath while wandering in the garden. Oh, how much he loved flowers. How much he admired the colorful souls than anything. No one would believe that the cold alpha loves flowers. But Jungkook gives no damn about it. He loved it, he loves it and he will love them.

The alpha smelled the blue daffodils and exhale wholeheartedly. He felt happy because of that small thing.

"Good morning, alpha Jungkook."

The voice came from behind and the head alpha turned to see a new but familiar face.

"Good morning, Sehun-ssi"

"What are you doing here?" The head alpha asked.

"Nothing. I woke up early. So just thought to look around the packhouse. It's amazing, actually."- the beta of red crescent said. Jungkook walked towards the male and lead his way to the training ground.

"Jungkook-ssi"
It was sehun who broke the deep silence after their casual talks.

"I heard your mate--- is from red crescent"
Sehun said in a low voice. There's no limit to how an alpha will react when hearing about their mate from another male; true blood is out of the discussion.

"Kim Taehyung"
Jungkook said nonchalantly. As the public relations head, Sehun obviously knows the said male- or who doesn't know Kim Taehyung. And Jungkook too, sure about Sehun's knowledge.

"Ah, that omega"

Sehun blurted out. Pure mistake. Jungkook growled at the men, eyes burning red. He will not tolerate anyone taking his mate's name without respect.
Sehun cleared his throat and said:

"Oh, I'm sorry. The Luna-- he's from our pack, right?
If he's the same one I'm thinking, then..."

Sehun stopped to look at the alpha. He gulped before continuing.

"He doesn't deserve to be your Luna "

Sehun paused. The step was dangerous. But to his surprise, the alpha was silent. There's no change or anger in his expression. Maybe the alpha agrees with that. And thus, sehun continued.

"He doesn't have a good reputation in our pack. I heard a lot of inappropriate stories about him. And even though, he's an omega, I --- never found him submit to anyone. "-he paused.
