Chapter 14

Flashback

" Mal, can we talk about what happened? Cause a LOT has happened"

Ben sat on his bed beside Mal.

" I thought you were dead... Then I found you and we had a fight and then my mother came back and tried to kill you " Mal sighed " And there's this " Mal had her hands resting on her tiny baby bump.

" I can't wait to meet them. I hope they have your eyes and hair "

Mal scoffed

" You didn't think that way a few days ago " Mal tried not to cry but her emotions got to the better of her.

Ben wrapped his arms around her.

" I shouldn't of acted that way. I'm sorry " Ben sighed resting his chin on the top of her head.

" Its okay. I forgive you " Ben took her hand in his and pressed a kiss onto her hand ( just where the engagement ring rested) .

" I've known you were the one for a long while now. Of course I want a family with you. I was just stressed,  that's a lame excuse but I'm sorry "

" Its okay, don't give it another thought " she played with his hair. It annoyed Ben sometimes, this time not being one of them.

" Mal? " Ben asked " Thank you "

Mal turned her attention back to Ben.

" For what? "

" Giving me a family, for being with me and for never giving up on us. I love you "

" I love you too. So much " Ben kissed her.

They broke up apart.

" We're gonna be parents " Ben said

" We are. Cool parents I hope "

" Their mother is part dragon. That's pretty cool " Ben laughed " Well someone has to be the embarrassing parent, I guess "

Mal laughed and kissed his cheek in response.

" Of course you will, my king "

End of Flashback

Mal was taken out of her thoughts by Ben. Was that a dream? Or a memory. A memory that revived a load of lost memories. She remembered. She did but she didn't know what to do.

" Mal, are you okay? "

Mal turned around abruptly

" yeah...I'm...fine " Mal smiled " I'm sorry, I gotta go. I'll see you later. It was nice seeing you "

Mal handed Adrianna back to Ben before heading off

' What was that? ' Mal thought to herself.

" Evie??? E? " Mal called out

Mal wandered through Evie and Doug's house. She found her best friend at the back in her Evie4Hearts studio.

" Mal !! " Evie exclaimed " What's wrong? "

Evie noticed the worried expression in her friends face. Evie could read her like an open book.

" I remember... I remember " Mal exclaimed

" What? " Evie asked

" It was Ella.... I think. I mean it has to be. I remember. Ben' s my husband, Adrianna's my daughter and I'm the Queen "

" So it's true, then? Ben was saying the same a few days ago " Evie put her sewing  machine away to pay full attention to her " I thought Ben was just jealous but now I think he was telling the truth "

" It is... I'm sure "

" How did it happen" Evie asked

" I was in the park... I saw Ben and his...our child and I held her and I made eye contact with Ben. He touched my hand and I got this memory thing of me and Ben and all of my memories came back " Mal explained

Evie nodded.

" Does Ben know you remember? " Evie asked

" Not yet... I needed to tell you first " Mal said

" So what now? "

" We need to return everyone's memories " Mal sighed

" True Loves Kiss " Evie said

" What? " Mal asked

" True Loves Kiss works everytime and it is powerful enough to beat any curse " Evie said " You and Ben have that "

" We did. I don't know if this curse can be broken like that "

" M, don't be ridiculous.  The love you and Ben have is the reason you remember.... it's too strong to be forgotten "

" you're right! I need to go and find my husband and child ! "
