Chapter 15

Mal made her way up the many staircases of Castle Beast. God knows why their bedroom and baby's nursery was at the very top of the castle. Mal was nearly out of breath.

' He better be in here ' Mal thought to herself.

She heard the light sounds of a baby's cry.

" It's okay, honey " Mal cooed

She pressed a kiss to her daughter's head.

" I missed you. Did you miss your mama? of course you did "

Her baby giggled. The sound of her baby's laugh was the most beautiful thing she had ever heard. She was amazed at how incredible her child already was. She knew one day, she would grow up to be just as incredible as her parents and grand parents ( Ben's side 😂) were. Hades wasn't too bad but she rather her child not take the attitude of her father.

" Where's your father? Come on let's go find him " She spoke in an annoying baby voice that Ben would have teased her for. Mal Bertha, Daughter of Maleficent speaking in a cute baby voice with her little baby. It was adorable!

" Gone " a feminine voice answered in a cold tone " You've made a mistake double crossing me !!! "

" Ella! " Mal gasped

" I'd like to say it's good to see you but it isn't...at all "

" Cut it out, Ella. Where is Ben? " Mal asked impatiently

She just wanted to see him, hug him, kiss him and tell him how much she loved him and just how much she missed him. She couldn't wait another minute.

" Like I said Gone. You shouldn't have come here. Well you'll have a front row seat and the privilege of witnessing my revenge. Guess what, Mal? Ben may love you but I've won this war and there is nothing you can do about it "

" Where am I? " Ben thought aloud. Where's Adrianna? What's going on?

It felt like deja vu. Around a year ago, he was in a similar space. Everyone including his loved ones thought that he had died tragically. Ben sighed. When will him and Mal ever find peace? There is always something keeping them apart whether that be crazy psycho exes or evil curses from jealous princesses. Thinking about it all, Uma and the villains from the isle were never that bad compared to the people living around them.

" I have a proposal for you " Spencer smirked wickedly

" I'm married, I'm not interested, I'm already in love but because of you she doesn't remember " Ben snapped

" A deal. I meant.. a proposal? Whatever.... your wife remembers " Spencer scoffed

Ben's eyes widen at his previous statement

" What? She does? Wait you're lying "

" Why would I? Besides she's with Ella right now at Castle Beast. Seems she was looking for you " He cackled " How disappointing? "

" DON'T YOU DARE LAY A HAND ON HER " Ben roared at him

" Oh we won't on one condition "

" What do you want ? "

Ella grabbed her wrist. " You gotta hope your friends will come through. Ben is out of touch at the moment "

" I believe they will and when they do you better run " Mal threatened her " And Ben is stronger than you think "

" Not when it comes to you. You're his weakness " she emphasized

Ella cackled walking out the door. She suddenly stopped and locked the door leaving Mal and her few months old baby inside the nursery.

" Enjoy your quality time together. Its mother baby bonding " she laughed in a sing song tone

Her baby started to cry again. As that's what babies do best.
