A Forbidden Love (Viggo Grimborn x reader) {Slow Updates}

Pt.11

(I don't like when people copy movies/shows word for word. So I'll be cutting out some of the dialogue and replacing it to fit with the story.)
"I'm counting on it."
My eyes widened and I pulled away from him.
I stopped D/n and we where hovering in the sky.
"Viggo. You have to promise me you won't. No one can find out. Not yet anyway."
"I was just joking with you darling. You know how I like to press your buttons. But yes I promise."
I let out a breath and looked down.
"Viggo. There going to hate me. If they know there going to hate me."
"They won't know darling. After this They'll never see me again. And we can continue to be together."
I nodded and looked down. He slid his hands on top of mine. I looked at them, how right it felt to be pressed against him, to be in his arm, to have his breath on my neck.
I sucked in the cold night air to replace the breath I had just lost.
"We should hurry and get back."
"If you insist darling."
His hands left mine and they where now cold: exposed to the night air.

Dawn had just came overhead. Viggo was just walking back and forth to pass time; while we all stood watching him.
"I don't trust the guy."
Astrid said,
"Come on guys. I know we've all had um rough... patches with him. But I feel like he deserves a little bit of trust."
"Why are you defending him?!"
Astrid exclaimed turning to me.
"I-I'm not. I'm just saying We need to trust him a little bit. He told us the truth about Ryker so show him a bit of respect for that."
Astrid huffed a bit before crossing her arms.
"You gotta love the way he talks."
Ruff laughed, then started to mimic him the best she could.
"Hiccup, I'm afraid our time together has come to an end. I must now kill you, if you don't have any objections."
Tuff laughed a bit before jumping in.
"Yeah like he won't have any objections. And he'll go-"
Tuff started to Mimic Viggo like Ruff did previously.
"All of your dragon riders must also go. With my sincerest apologies."
We all looked at them, waited a few moments before continuing.
"I'm with Astrid."
Fishlegs said to keep the conversation going.
"Ryker is coming to try to wipe us all out along with his brother. Are we really gonna take any chances with Viggo here?"
"You guys are right. I got this."
Hiccup said, he walked towards Viggo. Me and Astrid fallowed.
"Hiccup what are you doing?"
I asked, he didn't speak whist walked into the Dragons stable; then him and Astrid pushed Viggo into one of the cages.
"Hiccup you must reconsider."
"Hiccup we had a deal with Viggo."
"I'm sorry but there's too much bad blood for us to trust that you'll do anything but try to, you know..."
"And the dragon eye's return, it did nothing to assuage your concerns?"
"Not enough."
"Ryker will attack this island with my Shellfire dragon. I'm afraid he won't stop until all of you are, well, you know..."
"Encouraging as always Viggo. I'm confused about something though. Ryker said that you will get to us using my sister. Why is that?"
"You see that's just it. Ryker wants you to turn on each other thinking she's hiding something. I could be of considerable assistance in helping you defend your home. If you'd would allow me."
"We'll take that under advisement."
"There here-"
Tuff started rambling and I started rubbing my arm and looking down.
"For the name of Thor what are you guys talking about?"
Hiccup asked and him and Astrid left; Ruff and Tuff fallowed. I decided I should fallow or I'd screw up everything. Just as I took a few steps Viggo grabbed my arm gently.
"My dear."
My heart dropped and I looked at his hand.
"I'm sorry. Hiccups right. I-I love you Viggo, but I don't know if you love me. There is too much bad blood for me to know if your truly wanting to help or using my feelings as a move."
I placed a hand on his and slid my arm from his grip. I kissed his hand before dropping it; and before walking out guess who showed up.
Ruff and Tuff walked back in.
"Don't worry N/n (just think of something Tuff would call you lol) we got this."
He said,
"So Viggo. Vigster. How about we bounce something off you."
"Guys. Just dont harass him too much."
I said, hopefully saving him from a more painful headache than the one he was going to get.

It was once again night,  Hiccup giving us all jobs to do.
And Snotlout obviously complained when Fishlegs was told to hide.
"There's no crying in Maces and Talons!"
Tuff shouted,
"What do you think?"
We all raised an eyebrow at them.
"Our catchphrase. It's already got The Viggo stamp of approval."
"That's awesome. Ruff, Tuff, and Heather you take the first wave of ships."
"I'm going to check on Viggo and give him something to drink."
"Good idea. The rest of you-"
I got on D/n and we flew to the hut. I got some water we had from the river on the island. I told D/n to stay and he did.
I made my way across the boardwalk into the Stables. I walked to Viggo and handed him the water.
"Something for you to stay hydrated."
I spoke softly,
"Thank you darling."
"Don't mention it."
"Are you alright?"
"I'm fine."
"I can see it in your eyes darling. The panic, the fear. What's got you Worked up?"
"It's just..."
I stoped for a second, keeping my eyes glued to the floor.
"Look at me darling."
I did as he asked, and met his eyes. I stepped closer to him. The bars stoping us from holding each other. I reached my hand through It and pulled him closer. I leaned up and kissed him.
The spark was still there, the passion, the lust. I pulled away with tears in my eyes.
"I know how this is going to end."
I looked down, and a few tears fell from my eyes.
"I just forgot how it begun."
I stepped away and Viggo reached for me.
"Yn stop. Please."
I shook my head no and quickly walked out of the stable with Viggo crying my name.

As we where finishing up the huts a fire ball was hurling towards us.
"In coming!"
Snotlout shouts, we all duck and cover our heads.
"Everyone to there huts! We have to wait out the first attack."

I pulled my hair up again and put the golden headpiece back in. When I walked into the meeting hut I saw Viggo. Everything seemed under control so I said nor did anything.
After a moment Viggo Continued.
"Hiccup, you must allow me to assist you, for the sake of us all. The Shellfire's range is over a mile. Ryker is using ships: my ships to be exact! To protect it."
"Then we need to get past the ships."
There was another boom and the whole place shook. I fell over my feet but Viggo caught me.
"Thanks"
I said and stood.
"Ruff, Tuff your up."
I fallowed Hiccup and Astrid, taking one more glance at Viggo.
"Hey what about me!"
"Look after your new best friend there."
"Where's the fun in that?"
"It's not supposed to be fun!"
"And I don't care how scary he is. Do not let him out of your sight again."

(I'm sorry. I don't really know how to do battle scenes.I'm going to learn. This is already late and I want to get a chapter out this week)
We all where hovered together for the battle plan.
"No there's got to be another way!"
We heard wing beats and turned to see who it was.
"Aren't you supposed to be watching Viggo? Is that the stables on fire?"
"You said don't let him out no matter what."
"Snotlout!"
I shouted, Panic covered me and I didn't think twice. I took off full speed to get to him. I jumped off D/n when he was few feet off the ground. I ran in and covered my mouth.
I quickly took off the lock and opened the door. I got to him and helped him up.
"Darling-"
"Not now Viggo. We have to get out of here."
I was about to take a step out, but Viggo pulled me into his chest using his arm as a shield;when a wooden slab fell to the ground.
I looked into his eyes but quickly snapped out of it when D/n roared.
"Come on."
We hurried out, and he Had to take breaths.
"Yn. I can help. Please."
I mounted onto D/n.
"How are you going to help?"
"I can advise you. On defeating my brother and stopping the Shellfire."
"You got that all figured out, huh?"
I said sarcastically, he just gave me a light smirk.
"As luck would have it. I do."
I took in a breath before exhaling.
I reached out my hand and he took it. He then mounted onto D/n.

"Then we walked into it. But I'm making the call."
They mounted on Toothless.
"Be careful..."
I said,

I watched all the ships. Some going down and others already gone.
I looked over to the volcano and saw Hiccup along with Fishlegs. But. Where is Viggo.
I flew over to them and landed.
"Hiccup where's Viggo?"
Fishlegs flew off to observe the Island.
"I don't know. But this nightmare looks like it's finally over."
"Are you sure about that Hiccup?"
Viggo was on Stormfly holding an Ax to Astrids throat.
"Let me guess. You want the dragon eye in exchange for Astrid."
"Oh it sounds so much colder when you say it like that. But yes."
"Viggo. I was finally beginning to trust you! But I guess your nothing but a lying, double crossing, manipulating man!"
His eyes once laced with victory was now filled with sadness. I tightened my fist in anger.
He shook out of the emotions. Why? Why wouldn't he expose me? Why wouldn't he tell them everything?
"While I do appreciate your assistance in putting my brother in his rightful place, I must insist that you return it to where it belongs. With me."
Hiccup grabbed the dragon eye clenching it.
"Don't even think about it!"
Astrid shouted,
"Are you really going to sacrifice your future. Al the wonderful years ahead of you for that?"
"Wow Viggo. When you put it that way. No I'm not!"
Hiccup through it over his head and into the volcano.
Viggo pushed Astrid and went to grab it.
Viggo looked down at the cracking rock.
"Viggo..."
I whispered, he looked up to me. I shook my head and ran towards him. Like I always have, and how I always will. The rock callused under him:
"Viggo!
I cried and I jumped grabbing his arms.
"Yn!"
Hiccup shouts,
He looked up and smiled lightly.
"Always saving me."
"Not that I have a choice."
I smiled back and grunted trying to pull him up.
"Work with me Viggo."
I tried to pull up, But the heat of the volcano, plus my sweat was making me slip.
He looked as if he was thinking something over.
"Viggo. Now is not the time for overthinking this situation!"
I exclaimed,
"YN, let go."
Viggo said,
"No.. I'm not going to let you die!"
I cried, I started to slip again. I was dangling over the edge holding Viggo while my hips where the only thing that was keeping me up.
"darling let go I won't let you fall too."
Viggo said,
This is how our story begun. This is how far I will go to save my love. But the story won't end here. I won't let it.
"Viggo. I can't. I love you! Don't you understand that! I love you!"
Viggo smiled,
"I know. And I'm sorry I never told you. But I love you too."
Devotion sparked from hearing those words and I used all the strength I could gather.
Lava spat up and burned up my arm. I yelped in pain and couldn't pull.
"I'm sorry Love."
He said, he released his grip from around my arm.
He started slipping.
"Viggo! Stop! Hold onto me!"
He kept a smile on his face as he started to slip.
"I love you. I love you so much darling."
I was now holding only his wrist. Our sweat didn't help at all.
"Viggo..."
I grunted trying to hold on.
"It ok my love."
His wrist slipped from mine and he fell.
"Viggo!"
I cried out, Hiccup then pulled me up.
I looked up at him sobbing.
"Your in love with Viggo Grimborn!"
