Chapter 2.

Bretts pov:
Its now 1 pm Matt and i meet up for lunch. While me and Matt have lunch we talk about life and he ask me if Saturday is a good day for are date. I say "yes". He says "great".

Matts pov:
Its now Saturday i plan on picking up Sylvie for are date at 5 pm it was only 2:30 pm but i had to get a haircut I wanted to look nice for Sylvie plus i had to get it cut anyway. I leave leave my hair cut appointment at 3:30. I head back to Kelly and i apartment. I hang around till 4:00 pm. I start getting ready for are date. I put on a blue button up shirt and a nice pair of blue jeans. I head to the flower shop and pick up some red roses for Sylvie. Once i get to the apartment i knock on the door and she answers. She is wearing a red dress and she curled her hair. I star at her and she says "is everything okay". I say "you look so beautiful". She smiles and says " thank you". In her kind sweet voice. I hand her her flowers and give her a kiss.

Bretts pov:
After Matt gives me a kiss i grab my bag and we head to his truck. Once we get to his truck he goes to the passenger door and opens it for me. I smile and say "what a gentleman". We smiles than gets into the truck. Once we get into the truck i tell him he looks nice. He says "well thank you. You look gorgeous". I smile than give him a kiss. Once we get to the restaurant we wait 5 minutes to be seated. Once we get seated. Me and Matt both order a glass of red wine and are meals. While we eat me and Matt talk about life. He smiles and ask "how was your day". I say "it was good yours". He says "its great since you are here with me". I smile and hold his hand.

Matt pov:
While me and sylvie have dinner i ask her if she wants to tell anyone about us. She says "lets wait a couple weeks than tell everyone i like it just being us to. I say "okay that makes sense". She smiles and says "okay". After we have dinner we head back to Sylvie's place. Once we get to Sylvie's place. She goes and changes into something more comfortable. After she changes she gets us a beer.

Bretts pov:
After i hand Casey his beer we sit and talk and just joke and laugh for awhile by the time we check the clock it is 10 pm. Matt tells me he better get going since we have shift tomorrow. I give him a kiss and hug goodbye. After he leaves I clean up the mess we made and than get into the shower.

Matts pov:
After i leave Brett i head back to the apartment. Kelly wasn't home so I figured he was with Stella. I get into the shower. After i get out of the shower. I brush my teeth grab a water than head to bed. Once i get into bed i think about how perfect the night was and i wish Sylvie was in bed next to me. And then i fall asleep.

Bretts pov:
After i shower i put on my pajamas and brush my teeth. I turn of the lights than head to my bed. Once i get to bed i think about how amazing matt is and are date and thinking about how much I truly love him. Than i head to sleep.

Matts pov:
I wake up at 6:30 am. I head to the kitchen and make a pot of coffee. After i have my coffee i brush my teeth and shower. After i shower i get dressed grab my work bag and head to the firehouse.

Bretts pov:
After i get to the firehouse. I go into the common room. I see gallo cooking pancakes. I say hi to stella and Violet. After gallo finishes cooking we sit down at the table and eat. After we eat the bells go off "truck 81 engine 51 squad 3 ambo 61 person trapped". We hop into are rigs. Once we get to the scene we see a person trapped inside of a meat freezer. Matt starts giving orders. Once matt and kelly get the person out we head to med. after we get back from the call i go and look for matt. I find him in his quarters doing paperwork. He ask if the victim was okay i say "he was is going to survive". He says "good". Than closes the blinds. He gives me a kiss and ask how the date was i say " it was great a nice man brought me flowers and took me out to dinner". He chuckles than gives me a kiss than says "great".

Matts pov:
Me and Sylvie talk in my quarters for 15 minutes. Than the bells go off for a ambo call. I always worry when she goes out on calls because she has had some very close calls. 1 hour later brett comes back to the firehouse. I go into the common room and see mouch and herrmann talking about some things about Molly's. It is now 9:00 pm and we only have had 3 other minor calls. Brett comes into my quarters and sits on the bed. I smile and say "hey you okay". She says "yeah". I go and close the blinds than i sit on the bed. I smile and say "good". Than give her a kiss "she says "lay down with me?". I smile and say yes. Me and brett cuddle in my quarters for the rest of the night i look down and see she is asleep. I give her a kiss than kick of my shoes 30 minutes later i fall asleep. I wake up at 3:30 am to the bells going off. "Squad 3 vehicle. Collision". I was relieved that it didn't say ambo 61 because brett looked peaceful. I fall back asleep.

Bretts pov:
Me and matt wake up at 6:30 am i head to the bathroom to brush my teeth and shower. After i finish showering i go to the common room and see everyone eating breakfast. I get a cup of coffee than sit down and eat. We all hang out till shift ends. After shift ends matt ask if i wanted to hangout i say yea come to my place.
