Chapter 4

When me and Kelly get into his room i go and give him a kiss and say "don't scare me like that again. Kelly talks to him for a few minutes then leaves the room. I tell matt that i love him. Will comes in and says you will be clear to leave tomorrow. We say okay than i decide to stay with matt. I go out and update everyone. Then chief takes everyone back to 51.

7 weeks later...

Bretts pov:
I have been sick lately and throwing up every morning. It came on all of sudden i have no clue what it is. While sitting down about to eat breakfast at 51 i run to the bathroom. Stella and violet fallow me. Once i finish throwing up. They ask if I'm alright. I say "i don't know whats wrong with me". Stella says "could you be pregnant". Than i stop she ask "did you get your period". I say in shock "no". Stella says "i have a extra pregnancy test in my locker from my pregnancy scare last month" i say "okay". Then she goes and grabs it we lock the bathroom door than i take it. I wash my hands while waiting. 3 minutes later i look at the test when i look at the test it says "pregnant". Stella ask what it says. I show them the test. They both say wow. I say i have to go tell casey then i head to his quarters.

Caseys pov:
Sylvie comes in my quarters and closes the blinds. I stand up and give her a kiss and ask what is wrong. Then she pulls something out of her pocket and hands it to me. It is a pregnancy test i look at it and it says "pregnant". I look at sylvie with a smile on my face and say "your pregnant". She says "yes". In a scared voice. I notice she is scared so i give her a hug and tell her everything will be alright you will be a great mom. She says "is this what you want i mean we haven't been together that long". I say " i wouldn't want to raise a baby with anyone but you". She says "okay i will see Natalie after shift". I say "i will take you". She says "okay".

Brett pov:
After shift me and casey go see Natalie. Once we arrive at med i ask for Natalie. She comes and says "hey whats up is everything okay". I say "yeah i need a ultrasound" then show her the test. She says okay then takes us to a room. She gets the ultrasound started and says well your definitely pregnant probably around 6-7 weeks then she stops i look at her she smiles and looks at me and says "your having twins". Matt looks at me and gives me a kiss then smiles. Natalie say everything looks good. I will set you up for a proper appointment for next week. We both say okay. Than leave.

Matts pov:
I just found out that brett is pregnant with twins. Im excited to he a father. We head back to bretts apartment. Once we get to her apartment we settle down and she ask "do you really want this". I say holding her hand "sylvie i wouldn't want do this with anyone else i love you and are 2 babies". She smiles and says "okay we should tell boden next shift so i can be put on desk duty". I say  "okay".

Bretts pov:
Me and matt spend the 48 hours off together preparing for next shift. Once we get to the firehouse. We go and talk to boden we go into bodens office and he says "whats up". Me and matt look at each other than i say "umm well there's no simple way to do this so um I'm pregnant". Boden smiles then gives us a hug and says congrats i say "thats not all its twins". He smiles and gives us a hug. He says when are you telling everyone. Me and matt look at each other i say "i guess we can now". He says "okay". Then we head to the common room. Me and matt gets everyone's attention. They look at us matt says with a smile on his face " well sylvie is pregnant with twins". Everyone gets up and hugs us. Kelly gives matt a hug and says "congratulations matt". He says "thank you". Everyone ask questions For the rest of shift.

Bretts pov:
I had my ultrasound today and the babies look good. Matt has asked me to dinner. So i get ready for dinner than he comes and brings me flowers than we head to dinner. Once we order matt grabs my hand he say "Sylvie i know we haven't been together long but I love you kelly and stella moved out and i love you will you move in with me?". I smile and say "i love you to yes i will move in with you". He smiles and says "okay". We have dinner and enjoy the rest of the night. Once we head back to my apartment i ask casey when he wants me to move in he says "as soon as possible". I laugh and say "okay i will get boxes tomorrow". He says i will help you pack". I laugh and say "okay". Its the next morning casey went to get boxes once he got back he helped me pack. I got most of my clothes moved. I gave my furniture that i wasn't taking away and a couple days later i was moved in. Today was a long day so we head to sleep.

Matts pov:
I wake up at 6:00 am and look at Sylvie. She was asleep so I cuddled her and 5 minutes later she woke up. I looked at her and i said "good morning gorgeous". She looks at me and says "good morning". She gives me a kiss than runs to the bathroom to throw up. I follow her and sit next to her and hold her hair back. She cries and says I'm sick of being so nauseous. I hug her and say "i know I'm sorry baby". She says "i can get up now". So we get up and start getting ready for work.
