Chapter 6

2 days later...

Bretts pov:
I have a doctors appointment today a basic check up. Matt and i wake up at 7:45 am and Matt makes breakfast him and i eat breakfast than go shower.

Matts pov:
Once we get out of the shower i give Sylvie a kiss. She gives me a couple kisses than says "we have to get ready". i smile and say "we have time". She gives me another kiss than i take her to the bed room we start making out than we have sex. 35 minutes later we cuddle for 10 minutes than we get up and get ready. I put on jeans and a t-shirt.

Bretts pov:
I get dressed in jeans and a crew neck. Than do my make up and hair. Matt and i leave for the appointment at 9:30. Once we get there they bring us in the room she starts the ultrasound and says everything looks good. Matt ask "so when can we find out the genders the babies. The doctor says "at 20 weeks". Matt says "okay". The doctor gives us the ultrasound pictures than we leave and go to the store. We get to the store and get are groceries than we head back home.

Matts pov:
We get home and i out away the groceries than clean up and do some laundry. Sylvie is sitting on the couch so i go sit next to her and give her a kiss. She turns on her show than i cuddle with her on the couch for a little awhile. I have been thinking more about the marriage thing and I was thinking of proposing once we find out the genders of the babies. Brett ask "do you want to go get lunch" i say "sure" than we head to lunch. We have lunch 35 minutes later we leave and Sylvie says "how about we walk around for a little bit". I say "okay".

Sylvies pov:
Me and matt walk around and i say "i love you so much you know". Matt says "i know i love you so much". Than he gives me a kiss on my forehead. We walk around for a little than we go home and do some things around the house for the rest of the day.

Next shift...

Matts pov:
While we are at the firehouse i see stella and i ask her if i can talk to her. She says "yeah whats up". I say " i need your help with something it has to do with Brett". She says "is everything okay with her". I say "yeah yeah everything is fine except shes throwing up like every 2 minutes in the morning but I'm thinking about proposing to her after we find out the genders". She says "oh really okay". I say "i know your her best friend so i was wondering if you could help pick out the ring". She says "yeah just let me know when". I say "okay" than the bells go off " all units respond building fire". We get to the scene and its a high rise building fire. Chief starts giving orders he orders truck to start evacuating people me and gallo bring out 2 victims and i switch out my oxygen tank.
Than i head back in. To find more victims. We get almost everyone out until chief orders us to pull back because the fire it getting to bad. We pull back than engines start putting out the fire. Than we clean up and than we go back to 51.

Sylvies pov:
I hear that the fire that matt responded to was bad so I'm worried and i sit in his quarters. I hear them get back so i go and find matt. I find matt and say "are you okay". He says "baby I'm okay". Than gives me a kiss he says "he's going to go shower". I sit in the common room with violet and stella and we talk. The rest of shift is pretty normal.

Matts pov:
At the end of shift i ask stella if she can come with me to help pick out a ring for Sylvie. She says "yeah i can are you going to tell kelly". I say "I'm trying to keep it as secret as possible she says "okay". I say "okay". Than go meet Sylvie in the truck". She ask "do you wanna go grab breakfast". I say "yeah". So we go to the diner for breakfast. While we are eating she ask "what were you and stella talking about". I panic and just say "about the call" she says "oh okay". Than we finish eating. And head home.

Sylvies pov:
We get home and i shower and clean up around the house. Matt says "do you wanna go to Molly's tonight". I say "yeah we can go to Molly's". He says "okay". We get to Molly's and i order a water and matt gets a beer. We talk for a little. I see violet and stella so i go talk to them for a little while. Matt and i leave Molly's at 10 pm. We get home and get ready for bed.

Matts pov:
Me and Sylvie cuddle for a little while we watch tv. She gives me a kiss and we start making out for a minute. Than we continue cuddling. She says want to go watch a movie on the couch i say "sure" so i grab a blanket and she turns on a movie and we cuddle and 30 minutes later she falls asleep so get up and pick her up and bring her to the bed and cover her up and give her a kiss on her forehead than i fall asleep.
