Chapter 14

Matts pov:
Sylvie and i wake up at 8 am. I look over at her and say "good morning baby".She says "good morning babe". We lay in bed and cuddle for awhile. We get up and get dressed. It was a nice morning so we go to get coffee and walk around the park.

Sylvies pov:
We get ready and go get coffee. We drive to the park and walk the trails. With my arm around matts. We talk about life and random things. I say "I'm sorry for getting mad at you yesterday". He says "you shouldn't have it's my fault I should have told you". I say "i feel bad for making you feel like you couldn't tell me". He says "baby it had nothing to do with me not feeling able to tell you i was scared for what might have happened and scared it could have been something worse". I say "yeah". He says "I promise if anything ever happens i will tell you no more secrets". I say "okay". He says "i love you". I say "i love you too". We leave the park and than drive back home.

Hours later...

Sylvies pov:
It was 6 pm so matt and i ate dinner and chilled at home till it was time for Molly's. I take a quick shower and get ready than we head to Molly's. I message Stella "be there in 10". She replies and says "okay". We get to Molly's and when we walk through the door everyone yells surprise. I look around and see decorations and a sign that says congrats. Matt and i look at each other surprise and Stella comes up to hug me. I say "a surprise party". She says "yeah since you too eloped me and 51 put this together after shift. I say "you didn't have too do this". She says "yeah well you know me and parties". We chuckle and i say "yeah". Matt and i thank everyone.

Matts pov:
We get to Molly's and as soon as we walk in the door everyone yells surprise. Sylvie and i look at each other surprised. Stella goes and hugs Sylvie and kelly comes and give me a hug. He says "congratulations brother". I say "thank you severide". Sylvie and i go and thank everyone. We all hang out and drink besides Sylvie obviously not drinking. Sylvie sitting on my lap talking to severide and joe. Than Stella gets on the bar with the microphone and starts saying something.

Sylvies pov:
Matt and i are talking to joe and kelly than stella starts saying something on the mic. "Umm hi everyone herrmann just said I should say something so sorry Sylvie if this turns out bad or cringe". And everyone starts laughing. "Sylvie the day you came to me and said Olivia said you and Casey were meant for each other i knew that instantly you to had that connection. That connection I've never seen two people have. that connection people look for their whole lives . That day i knew casey was the one for you. Watching you two build a amazing relationship has been one of the best things. Sylvie. You and i have had are disagreements but i have never been more proud to have you has a best friend.". I start tearing up. "When i found out casey and you finally got together and how happy you were made me so happy. So happy to see you with someone who loves you unconditionally and someone who cares for you so much. Matt. Umm don't exactly know what to say here haha but i do know that i have never seen you so happy with someone. the way you are with Sylvie. All the time. Sylvie said that someone mentioned you two being a couple Sylvie denied not having any feelings for you well because she's Sylvie but i knew that you two were meant for each other that you two complete each other i without a doubt think that you two will have the happiest of years together forever and that you two will have the best family. I have never been so proud of you Sylvie and i wish for the very best for you two". Matt and i look at each other tearing up and i give him a kiss.

Matts pov:
Stella is talking about Sylvie and i and she brought up how Olivia said that Sylvie and i are meant for each other awhile back. I look at Sylvie and think about how lucky i am to be with her. Stella finishes her speech. I look at Sylvie and give her a kiss. I say "Olivia said that". She says "yeah Olivia,Julie and a few other people. I say "really". She says "yeah I guess they were right", i say "yes the were". And give her another kiss.

Sylvies pov:
As matt and i are talking to everyone i get a call. I don't recognize the number. I answer it. "Hello is this Sylvie casey". I say "yes". In a happy voice they say "I'm sorry to tell you this but theres been a accident". My face automatically changes and matt looks worried. I say "who's hurt". The man says "scott". I say "is Amelia is okay". They say "yeah she's fine but I should tell you scotts condition isn't good". I say "okay". He says "scott put you down as Amelia legal Guardian i think you should get down here". I say "okay. and hang up. I tell matt theres been a accident with scott we need to go. We hurry up and leave Molly's. I fill matt in on what happened. We drive to rockford faster than usual. We get to the hospital and we are greeted by a nurse. I say "hello im Sylvie casey im here about scott". The nurse looks at me and than sends matt and i into a room. A doctor comes in. He sits down. I say "what happened". He says "unfortunately scott and Amelia were in a car accident amelia is okay just a few minor scrapes and bruises but scott died 15 minutes ago in surgery I'm so sorry".
