chapter 16.

sylvies pov.
i wake up 6:30 to amelia crying. i calm her down.matt wakes up. he looks at me. and says "good morining gorgeus". i says "good morning". and give him a kiss. "hows little one doing". i look down at amelia whos in my lap. i say "good". he looks down at her and smiles and rubs her head. he says "so what do you want to do today". i say "well we need to go shopping for amelia and we should try to move some stuff so we can hurry and move in". he says "yeah we should probably hurry with that". i smile and chuckle and say"yeah". he says "what if we eat breakfast get ready go shopping and maybe i can ask a few guys from 51 to help i'm sure they would". i say "okay i am starving". matt says "i will start breakfast and make amelia eggs". i say "okay". he gives me a kiss and walks out to start breakfast.

i get up. i change amelia and brush my teeth. i walk out into the kitchen. and see matt cooking in his sweats and no shirt on. i look him up and down. he says "you okay?". i walk over to him and say "just admiring my hot husband". he says "oh really". i say "yeah he is pretty cute".he says "thats good". i say "yeah". and smiles. he gives me a kiss.he says "i finished amelias eggs". i say "okay". i put amelia down and feed her eggs".and than i make her a bottle. she falls back asleep. i put her back in our bed and put pillows around her so she dosen't fall off the bed. matt and i eat breakfast. he says "i messaged some of the guys from 51 and kelly stella herrmann and cruz said they could help move the rest of the stuff over to the house later". i say "great".

matts pov:
i start making breakfast. i message a few people at 51 about helping getting the rest of the stuff over to the new house. they respond yes. sylvie comes out with amelia. i notice her staring me up and down.i say "you okay?". she says "just admiring my hot husband". i say "oh really". she says "yeah he is pretty cute". i say "thats good". she says "yeah", and give her a kiss. she feed amelia while i finish making our breakfast. i keep looking over at her feeding amelia and think about how good she is with her and how i got so lucky to have someone so great. sylvie puts amelia down nd we eat breakfast i tellher what the others said. after we finish eating amelia wakes up. i look at sylvie and says 'i will watch amelia you can go get ready". she says "okay". she gets ready while i watch amelia. she finishes i hurry and get ready and we head to the store. we spend a few hours shopping and getting stuff for amelia. and pidck up a few things for the new house.

sylvies pov:
we get ready and go shopping. we get stuff for amelia and the house. we head to the new house to drop some stuff off. we eat quick lunch. everyone comes over and starts moving things into the new house. i take a break because of amelia. today has been a hard day. finishing moving and scott dying and now having a 11 months old. i go and hide in the bathroom since everyone is in the house. i sit there in the corner and let all my tears fall. i hear matt calling my name. i say "in here". talking about the bathroom. i try to wipe my tears but before i can matt comes in. he notices i am crying. we closes the bathroom door and kneels down to where i am sitting. he rubs my arm and says "sylvie". than i hide my face into is shulder and start crying. he hugs me tight. after a few minutes i let go. he moves me hair out of my face and drys the tear on my cheek. he says "i'm here for whatever you need okay babe". i say "i didn't expect it to be so hard i didn't know scott that well". he says "i'm so so sorry sylvie". severide calls for him. he gives me his matt casey look and rubs my cheek gives me a kiss on the head and goes and finds severide.

matts pov:
i go and look for sylvie.i find her in the bathroom sitting in the corner. i go to where she is i hug her tight and she cries into my shulder. for a few minutes. i wipe away her tears and move her hair out of her face. i say "i'm here for whatever you need okay babe". she says " i didn't expect it to be so hard i didn't know scott that well". i say "i'm so sorry sylvie". severide calls my name. i rub her cheek and give her a kiss. i get up and sigh and go find kelly. i wish i could do more for sylvie. severide ask me about some boxes. we finish moving out of the loft. we put up amelias crib and a couple quick imporant things. by the time evryone leaves its 8:30. i fix a quick dinner. i tell sylvie to go relax and i will put amelia down since i know she has had a tuff day. i feed her a bottle and she falls asleep. i put her in the crib. i grab the baby moniter and shut the door quietly. i find sylvie laying in bed staring off. i say "amelia fell asleep". i go and sit next to her. and pul her closer to me. i sit there in silence because i get a feeling that she probably dosen't want to. she falls asleep. i turn off the lamp and i think about taking more time off from work since everything. i fall asleep 30 minutes later.

sylvies pov:
we finish moving everything into the house. matt says he will put milli to sleep. i change into pj's and lay in bed. matt comes in and says she fell asleep. he comes and pulls me close to him. we don't say anything because i don't feel like talking. i fall asleep not much later. i wake up a few times in the night. i couldn't get her to sleep in her crib so i bring her into matt and i's room. she finally falls asleep and so do i.
