sylvies pov:
it has been a month  since we took in amelia. it has been hard but she is adapting. she turns one next week. we have been planning a birthday party. scotts funeral was really hard. matt has been very helpful. i stay home with amelia now just until i have the twins.. matt and i find out the gender of our babies today i am 20 weeks. we have decided to keep the genders a secret from everyone till they are born. its 6 am and i  wake up to amelia hitting me in the face, she still sleeps in our bed some nights. i look at and smile and say "hey baby girl you ready to see if you will have a brother or sister". she smiles. the appiontment is at 12 so shift will be over.

i lay down with millie for 5 minutes. she starts fussing because she is hungry. i get up and change her. we go to the kitchen. i lay out some toys for her on the floor for her to play with while i make her oatmeal. i finish making her breakfast so i put her into her high chair. and feed her. by the time she is finished eating she is a mess so i bathe her and put a violet colored dress on her. we chill and watch cartoons and i eat breakfast till matt gets home.

matts pov:
sylvie and i find out the genders today and i am really excited. i finish shift and head back home. first i pick of some flowers for sylvie. she has had a really hard time since scott died. i pick up the flowers and head home.  i find sylvie on the couch. she gets up and gives a kiss. i say "good morning babe". she says "good morning"  she notices the flowers in my hand. i say "i got you some flowers". she says "thanks babe". she gives me a kiss than goes and puts them in a vace. i pick up amelia and give her a kiss on her head. i say "how is my sweet litte girl doing". i tickle her. and she laughs. sylvie gets ready while i watch amelia. she comes out asking if what she is wearing looks okay. i say "sylvie you are the most beautiful girl you look good in anything". she says she looks fat i say "you are not fat you  are pregnant.  hot pregnant lady at that. she sighs and says thanks babe. i smile at her. she finishes getting ready and we head to find out the genders. i leave my hand on sylvs baby bump on the way there.

sylvies pov:
i get ready and do my makeup. i pick a outfit. i don't know how i feel about it because my belly is so big now. i ask matt how i look he says sylvie you are the most beautiful girl you look good in anything i say i look fat. he says "you are not fat you are pregnant. a hot pregnant lady at that". i say  'thanks babe". i finish getting ready and we head to the doctors. matt rubs his hand on my belly which he has been doing a lot latley. we get to the doctors and wait matt plays with millie. the doctor calls my name.  we go in the room. and she starts the ultrasound. she says everything looks good. and ask if we want to know the genders. matt and i say yes at the same time. she says "okay baby A is a boy and baby B is a girl. matt and i both get excited and have tears in our eyes. he gives me a quick kiss. we finish the appiontment. she gives us our ultrasound pictures and we leave. we get to the car. i say "we really are gonna have a son and another daughter. he says "i know right". i say "i can't wait to meet  them". matt says "me either".  i say "amelia is gonna be a great big sister". matt says "yes she is". i say "it's time to start looking for baby names". matt chuckles and says "yes it is". we decide to head to lunch.

matts pov:
we get to the doctors  i play with amelia while we wait. the doctor calls sylvie name.i am still not used to her name being sylvie casey but i love it so much the doctor starts the ultrasound. she says everything looks good. she ask if we want to know the genders. sylvie and i say yes at the same time. i am super excited i have been waiting for this day since we found out she was pregnant but i don't care what they are as long as they are healthy. the doctor says "okay baby A is a boy and baby B is a girl. sylvie and i start tearing up and i give her a quick kiss. we finish the appointment and they give sylvie the ultrasound pictures that i know she will put on the fridge. we get to the car. i strap amelia in her car seat. sylvie says "we really are gonna have a son and another daughter". i say "i know right". excited to have a son. 3 girls in the house is going to be chaotic but i am super happy. she says "i can't wait to meet them i agree. she says "amelia is gonna be such a great big sister. i agree again. we decide to go to lunch. we decide on a cafe. we sit down and order. we finish lunch. we spend the rest of the day at home figuring out baby names not finding any first names but we did agree on the girls middle name to be julie after sylvies mom and the boys to be kelly after severide. we eat dinner and put amelia to bed in her room hoping she will sleep in there all night. sylvie turns on a movie. we cuddle in bed and i rub sylvies belly we both fall asleep not long after. i wake up two hours later to ameli crying. sylvie faintly wakes up. i tell her to go back to bed and i can handle amelia. i go into amelia room. i pick her up and cradle her. she slows down crying a bit. i decide to rock her. after fighting she finally goes back down. i get a glass of water than go head back to sleep.
