Waiting around in her bedroom, Sam took note of what was going on.

She was sick and Bucky had just left for a mission.

Nothing seemed like it mattered when her boyfriend was putting his life on the line. Fighting the organization that nearly made him a machine.

Pepper had gone to talk to the doctor, who payed a visit right after Bucky left.

All this made her want to throw up again and she couldn't handle it. It was the first time she had someone she loved, worrying her to death.

"Where are the coordinates?" Steve asked and soon he was talking to a man with a machine gun, who seemed like the leader of the rest of the helpers.

"Southside Creek at 38.9851°N and 64.5688 °S." One of the men yelled and Bucky held his railgun ready for the kill.

"Alright everybody! Let's jack this one up!" Steve shouted and they jumped off the jet, heading towards the grey building.

Once the crew hit the ground, Bucky and Steve unattached the strings that helped them land.

Steve gave out cues behind one of the walls and Bucky nodded. Both went separate ways, Steve to the control room and him to knock down a few people who were the head of the cell.

He gripped the handle of the back door of the building with his metal hand–and yanked it open.

A grey setting with white padded walls, decorated the monotone room.

The lab.

Cages were everywhere.

Far more worse, there were dead humans in there.

Bucky shook the horrible thoughts that flew across his mind away and spotted the scientists.

He pulled the trigger about five times, knocking everybody in the lab down.

Almost everybody.

"Please, please...just STOP!"A scientist shouted, covering his face with his hands and dropping to his knees.

Bucky didn't let him beg anymore and he shot him, straight in the heart.

How could he stop? After what that man and the people that he worked for, did to him.

He couldn't stop.

Steve kicked the door open and a red alarm was going off in the control room.

He had the bomb in hand and was ready to set it up.

Except, he wasn't alone: there was someone else was in the control room.

Slowly, he turned around to see the person he had feared.

The person who made an uneasiness grow within him.

And she wore a lab coat along with a few rags, her hair blonde and messy.

"Get out!" She said through gritted teeth, aiming a small handgun at Steve. "Get out! You can't!"

Steve looked surprised at the time. "I belong to the lab! Get out!" She screamed, her hands shaking as wild as ever.

You could clearly see the blue veins, all of them branching on her pale, ghost skin and her purple lips.

Her dull yellow eyes, bulging with sickness, depression and panic.

She definitely looked like an apparition, like she hasn't eaten in centuries.

"Look, I don't want to hurt you–"

"Go away!" She yelled and fired the gun, then dropping it to the ground.

Luckily, Steve dodged the bullet and his talk device buzzed. "Anytime now." It was Bucky's voice ringing through.

He looked up to the panel, that revealed codes and coordinates of the different locations. Then, he threw the bomb into the panel, it automatically sticking.

He ran and ran, taking one last glance towards the girl who was shrieking at the top of her lungs at an unearthly volume.

"NOOO!" she roared, her mouth going wide and the whole building blowing up with the girl in it.

Steve leaped for the truck and Bucky helped him out, giving him a hand.
