Now, everyone was sitting around in the recreation area of the tower, to discuss matters related to HYDRA.

"We can't be seen and we can't be loud.", Fury commanded, his only eye making contact with everyone else's.

" HYDRA has a new threat and we can't take the risk on losing anyone else. All we have to do is keep the calm and look for solutions."

Sam gave Bucky's hand one squeeze, to assure him that they were going to be okay.

"What will happen to us?", Steve asked. " Who is this new threat?"

"Last month, during my recovery, Dr. Banner and Agent Romanoff informed and gave me files over what one of HYDRA's cells has been nourishing lately."

Fury set down a few manilla folders with paper clips on the glass coffee table.

"While Mr. Barnes was away, doing his specified job," he started explaining, causing Bucky to look down. "Dr. Zola, before his death, started working on a new project."

Steve reached for the file, while everyone kept quiet, anticipating the rest of the news.

His fingers slid over the cover and he took a deep breath. Opening the file, stood a picture of a...girl.

She was in her mid-twenties and strapped to an electrical chair, screaming. In the other picture, was the picture of a surfer, who looked exactly like the girl.

"EALF received the news over the accident in 1974. From then, she has been called 'Insanity', the strongest of their experiments.", Fury stated and everyone's focus was put on him. Steve put the open file flat on the table.

"EALF was formed by Zola. Extracting of Alien Life Forms. She currently got infected with chemicals that enhanced her senses and adding a slight touch of electric abilities.", Fury informed, everyone attentive.

"What does she have to do with anything?", Sam joined in the buisiness, feeling pity towards the girl.

"HYDRA is an immature toddler. You could guess they want revenge.", Tony said.

"Do you know," Fury prevented Tony from playing smart-ass and focused his full attention on Sam. "Why, we want to relocate you, Miss Voyles?"

Sam looked down and Bucky embraced her from the side.

"You're not safe. As Stark mentioned, they will do anything to get him to be eliminated.", Fury stated firmly by standing up and pointing to Bucky.

"They will use Insanity.", he warned, causing shivers to go down Sam's spine.

Tony crossed his arms. "Sargent Metallica will get recruited, that's for sure."

Fury made eye contact with Bucky, who was currently glaring at Tony. "That, will be discussed tomorrow."

Since Fury left for, Pepper decided it was time to settle Sam and Bucky down.

She introduced them to their room and left the rest of the exploring for them.

Sam, was very much impressed with every appliance that the tower owned.

And Bucky felt more lost than ever, but he knew Sam and Steve, would help him.

In their room, rested a small balcony, which gave out a perfect view of the city.

Bucky stood there, processing what had just happened. He was scared, angry and happy at the same time.

For instance, he had just reunited with his long lost best friend, put Sam in danger and risked her life along with his own.

He felt this weight on his shoulders that he couldn't get rid of.

Two small arms wrapped around his waist and he looked down to see the face that he had fallen in love with.

"Hi.", she almost squeaked.

"Hey.", he replied while leaning down and pecking her lips.

"Its time to go to bed, doofus.", she giggled and his smile faltered.

"Sam...", he said, looking into her eyes.

" We're going to get through this, Bucky. Don't worry about me," she assured him.

For once, Bucky felt settled, but he was going to have to recall the times with his best friend.

And protect Sam.
